just TO get an idea how many people have quit rs over recent changes i thought id  start a count.

 

im 1

 

i quit not only cuz of theur changes ,b ut ther attitude towards members.   guess if they dont listen oin hteir forums that you have to pay to post to , then i have to do somethiong that will make them listen, ie stop paying them.

    hi dude,

    me ive been ban of the entire site of runescape.com, i cant even go on the main page, that write

    "401 the website is blocked by administrator".  so now im not member, maybe later they will let me enter.

    its probably like u said, the recent changes.  i hope that i can enter one day :)

    i personally know of 350 members that quit runescape over the updates. from my family they lost 10 members and they have lost numerous clans.

    I had level 94 and 75 members and quit along with the members of each of their clans which was around 500-600 people

    I quit recently, but not because of the updates. I actually liked the updates.

    Apparently you weren't much of a pker and you didn't lend anyone anything if you liked the update.

    I just quit for a number of reasons. The updates were horrible, customer service was getting worse, and the economy was ruined. So sad.

    yeah updates there blow, the money and trade system was blown, pking garbage, runescapes gay now

    I just cancelled my subscription, less than an hour ago.

    I've argeed with a lot of the complaints people have had with the recent updates, the grand exchange, Bounty hunter, the trade limit and the duel arena. But I haven't quit till now because I never played to pk, make large sums of money or even to play and share with friends. I played simply to level my account, to the point where I could do just about anything in the game.

    I'm the type of player who can actually enjoy grinding, working and doing the same thing repeatedly to gain experience, as long as there's some reward at the end. But many of the skills in this game simply lack that reward and have become virtually pointless to train. While that's been true for a while, the recent updates made me realise one thing, the people who work at Jagex are going to do what they think is best for the game. And as they've shown, they're going to do it regardless of what the players say or do. It is their right and it's what we the players agreed to when creating our accounts, I just never imagined that they would create something so many people hate.
