Honestly who cares but just for kicks i'll give it a go. AOC first month will be somewhere around 50,000 and WAR will be about 75,000. Neither will be anything revolutionary or epic that people are craving for.
Reasons why AOC will fail..
1. Too many push back dates and can't fix anything on time. If you can't fix the game now then what gives people the comfort they will be able to fix things when they go live ?
2. Vista/Dx10 users will be highly disappointed. Can't think of a successful game that has had major success with Vista. DX9 users will be much happier.
3. Is Conan that popular ? Probably not as popular in the states compared to overseas.
4. Rehash of all current mmo games but it just looks alot nicer.
5. Funcom not a proven mmo company. AO was just a horrid release that never recovered.

1. Trying to compete with WOW will be the biggest blunder of all time.
2. It's DAOC rehash that looks a little nicer. There is nothing new we are getting here.
3. Since when has Mythic made a great mmo ? DAOC was released in October 1999 and in May of 2001 it only got 200k subscribers and it has never flourished since then. It only appealed to a small group of diehards. What makes people think this time around will be any different ?
4. PVP centric games never ever have a long lasting appeal to the mmo community.
Sorry but both had their chance to get their acts together and release alot earlier but both were too busy on trying to figure out what players want even after years of developement. Now they will have to compete with companies such as Blizzard and NCSoft which will pretty much spell the doom of both mmo games. I really hope I am wrong with my guess because it would be great for the mmo community to have 2 great games to play .
It's pretty obvious that WAR will have a larger subscriber base. lower system requirements, stylized graphics, a more interesting team, bragging about some interesting semi-new questing mechanics(for non-mud) over this raid will take a long time in a few videos, and finally a lower ESRB rating(not saying that kids are more likely to be playing, but saying that most adults don't care for psychopathic gore with a tit or two tossed in. gore is one of the worlds most annoying simple game mechanics).
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

Speaking from experience I can say that WoW DOES NOT run smoothly on an 8yr old PC.
