How is the population?

Hello,

I've played COH a few years ago and I loved it.  I had to leave the game due to personal reasons, but I was thinking of coming back.  I still have the game and just need to reinstall the game .  I was wondering if the game has a healthy population.  I tried EQ2 when Rise of Kunark expansion came out but I got bored quickly because it was too top heavy with high level players and I continuously found myself soloing throughout the whole game and running around large ghost towns.  But I guess thats expected when MMOs mature.  My question is, are there newbies that continuous enroll in COH or will I find myself in the same situation as in EQ2?  By the way don't have COV, but will buy if its worth it!

    Still lots of newbies around...
The good thing about CoH/V is that vet players like rolling up alts, so the low levels are always populated.

yac709 is completely correct. There are always lowbies around, and usually in the hands of an experienced player who is very welcoming to newbies or returning players.

The only range that might be light is the mid to late-30s. They're currently improving the XP in that range to move people through it quicker, but you still get the situation where people play a character to around 35 and then stop. That doesn't mean there aren't teams there, just fewer of them. Then when you hit 40-41, it all picks up again.

Sweet, this is just the info i was looking for, TYVM.

I'm coming back after a very long break and TBH I'm more excited about returning to this game than playing some of the others I have for the 1st time.  So glad to see the pop is still very active.

absolutely NO end game content yet... pvp is weak, and there is not really any well made raid content.  Basically the end-game is powerleveling alts.

id have to agree, i have alot of high lvls and all thats left is either completing the Upgrade sets for your powers or power lvling atls.....but its still fun to lvl alts...i come back to play a month or two every 6 months or so just to see whats new

If you're going to buy anything, purchase the Good vs. Evil edition.    You will gain access to both games for one monthly subscription fee.
