Finally got a buddy key

So I'm finally playing Vanguard thanks to a very generous member on the official forums. I started playing yesterday after the beast of a client was done dling, and I managed to hit lvl 7.
First off let me say that this game is quite deep, it is far deeper than what the other fantasy mmos offer today. I took everyone's advice and rolled on Seradon which has quite a healthy population. You will constantly see people in the chat and I've even found a couple of newbies in my area.
This is the closest modern mmo that can rekindle the oldschool mmorpg experience, infact it will quite possibly the closest one for a long time. I really am enjoying myself so far even more so than with lotro.
I advise anyone that's an oldtimer mmorpg fan and dislikes the current solo quest to the lvl cap routine, to go out and try VG and explore. There seems to be a good community out there for this game even if it's a small one.

Welcome to a great game! I enjoy it as well. When I find the time to play during my bizzy schedule, I get really sucked into the game.
You lie! Buddy keys are a myth created by <insert your favorite conspiracy group here> to taunt curious-yet-cautious gamers like myself. Grumble grumble, I'll just go back to my cryogenic storage tube, wake me when Sony finally puts out a demo/trial client.
Glad you're enjoying the game, and even happier to see that a rare and elusive buddy key went to good use. And thanks for posting a little bit of why you like the game. All the posts of "This game is great!" and "This game sucks!" with no insight doesn't do the rest of us much good.
