anybody have this problem?

in Everquest

i can run the patcher, but as soon as i try to lauch the game it goes and gives me an error saying "eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." then i get 2 options, Debug which launches my newly purchased Microsoft Visual C++ and then gives me an error saying "Unhandeled Express in eqgame.exe (EQMAIN.DLL):0xC0000005:Access Violation" and the other option is Close for the first error window, but it only started doing this since like 2 days after i installed Visual C++, the first 2 days it worked fine, i even uninstalled Visual C++ and it still launches it! please any help would be appreated, it worked fine up to wendsay an di got Visual C++ on monday


any help you guys an offer would be great

    Did you try to re-install DirectX 9 ?when you install C++, it install older dll over your current DirectX.
