I have been having a problem being disconnected from WOW for the last few days which results in my entire Internet connection to go down until I turn off the router and turn it back on after a few minutes. I can play any other game, surf the net, etc. without any problems. This is only happening after I log into WOW for a few minutes. Is anybody else experiencing this? Does anybody know how to fix this? Your help would be greatly appreciated!

You should probably consult the official WoW technical support forums first in cases like this. I believe this may help you.

Call them on the phone. I've done so several times and never had to wait more than a few minutes. One time my son's PC started doing that and we ended up having to change a setting on his NIC.

Thanks for the advice! I checked the forums last night but couldn't seem to find anything on this situation. I'll check again and try calling. I was just hoping someone here already remedied the situation quick and easy and could impart that wisdom! lol

Unfortunately if you are having the problem they describe in that thread I linked above, there is no quick and easy solution apparently. Blizzard is asking players to try the test realm, there apparently is a fix there now. If you can log into the test realm and stay connected, then you're gonna just have to wait till they roll the fix onto the live servers. That doesn't necessarily mean that won't happen till 2.4 goes live so don't panic, they may just want to make sure this fixes it before applying the patch.
