Turbine is currently experiencing connectivity issues. They say they are investigating the problem, but in the mean time, all of their games, including Lord of the Rings Online, Dungeons and Dragons Online, and Asheron's call are currently unavailable to players. The message quoted below is the latest message players see when they try to start up LotRO.
The problem, we are told, is with the company's service provider. Turbine will keep us updated as this develops.
Connectivity problems continue. Our staff at the datacenter are continuing to investigate and are working with our vendors as well to identify the problem. If you'd like to chat with other players during the downtime, we've created an official thread on the LOTRO forums.
We do want to clarify that this is not an issue caused by Book 12; Book 12 was successfully pushed to the servers and tested by QA, and will be available as soon as the connectivity issues are resolved!

Alright, who forgot the pay the internet bill!?!?
I wonder if there service provider will tell them what they always tell me...it's your router.
Last two times they insisted it was my router I had them come out to the house. First time the cable was loose at the telephone poll and water had leaked into the box. Second time weather had affected the connection under my house. They always say its my router.
Then when it goes out sometimes and I call them to ask if something is wrong with the cable in my area they always tell me know everything is fine. So I ask my neighbor and his went out same time as mine. And the cable guy's van out front is parked infront of another neighbors house and I walk over and start talking to him and he says cable is out in the area. Well, how come the guy I just called said there is no problem, and then tries to sell me a phone plan. So why would I buy a phone plan? If my cable internet goes out, and it affects my phone, how would I call them so they could tell me it was my router.

Usually because the company is super freaking huge.
Im a former verizon employee... and I can tell you it takes about 2 hours for us to confirm small outages. You lose connection and we have to trouble shoot yours. Then your 4 neighbors might also be out but not call in or not notice.
So we have one call, and the next day another call or 2 etc.
With big outages we get 500 calls in 15 minutes and its fairly easy to tell.
Woot, hope i get more hope candles.
In America I have bad teeth. If I lived in England my teeth would be perfect.
