I'm haveing a problem making a new account

imageWell I downloaded the client and patch from the site. I opened the file and it sent me to the place you choose the sever and stuff. When I click new account, a web page comes up to nothing and says it can't find the web page or something. Can someone please help me out?

It's this happening cuz im in North America or somthing?

    I got my account up now. Now I really need to know if users from North America can play, becuase I don't want any problems happening on my new computer . . .

    I am from North America and I am in the Malaysian Open Beta. It took me a few tries to set up my account. I am busy at work right now, but I will try to trace my steps and post soon as to how I got it to work. I know I did it through the main webpage, NOT the North American page.

    Here is how I did it. I could not use Mozilla, It would not register my User ID proper, I ended up using Internet Explorer to get it to work.

    goto websige http://www.ryl.com.my/ (This can time out or fail the first couple times, just keep trying)

    When the page comes up, you may see server status's in the center part of the screen. If so, wait about 20 seconds and it will move on to the Home Page.

    Click on the Yellow text "Register for your OPEN BETA account now." (middle of the screen roughly)

    on the next page click on "Register RYL" (On the left side right under the Server Status box)

    On the User Agreement page, read and click "Agree" if indeed you do agree to the terms.

    Here is where it can get tricky.

    On the User ID line, click enter here and another box will appear. Put in your desired name and it will validate it as original before you proceed on.

    Fill in all the astericked fields.

    ::::38:: NOTE: On the IC number, if you are from North America, put in twelve zeros. (The IC number is the Malaysion equivalence of the United States Social Security number)

    Press "SUBMIT" at the bottom of the screen and you should get a page telling you that you are in.

    Then you can download the client (if you haven't).

    Just start the client up and log in. (I think it patches before login)

    Once I got the link up, the rest went just fine. And the game does not seem to suffer the lag the registration site does either.
