Runescape | Skills, Moneymaking, Updates

hambuzerhambuzer Member Posts: 10

Hi everybody!

I've play Runescape for 2 years now.  I enjoy the game since I started it, and I increase a lot since the start.  Unfortunately, I've been bannned because I told to someone a site for Runescape Quest help .

I create that thread for Runescape fans, f2p or p2p.  I want to learn more about your Runescape view.  Here you can post and tell what skills you like, your best skill, your best way to make money and also about the new shocking updates .

Me I'm member and I'm a new hunter; level 51 now.  I also woodcutting a little for my goal: 99 firemaking.  I like Construction, but I need more money to increase...

What about you?

Hope that you'll enjoy the thread !

Well ive quit runescape about a year ago and just recently came back to realize all the new changes so I quit again...

In the time that I played I enjoyed the game alot and played  it alot too. I put woodcutting because I liked it alot, I would just find a good place with not too many people and cut away and it was never too boring with random events and stuff. I think my level in woodcutting was around 76 or something.

This highlights one of the reasons why Runescape will never be as good as it once was, so many years ago. At one time, there was a reason to level firemaking, and slowly, over the years, they've removed every useful purpose for firemaking. It's now just an empty shallow skill. Yet, it doesn't stop people from leveling it. Yes, people are really so bored that they are leveling a skill that is basically a gimmick, required for a few quests but useless otherwise.

I quit runescape over the downdates as well.. and i too was banned for a week once for telling  a guy who asked for help to go to rune hq for quest help.  Anyhow i  am still shocked that anyone actually likes woodcutting .. one of the most repetitous most boring things to do on the game ever lol. Anyhow .... I put magic because if you train it soley on players .. yes the most expensive but also the  most enjoyable thing to do in the game , it can be alot of fun. I had a lvl 70 with 94 mage so the ability to kill 126's with a noob is great fun . Barraging everyone and killing an entire team  makes it great. .. Too bad they ruined the game so that even that wasn't enjoyable anymore.  Construction was ok, but it was nothing compared to the brutality of a noob barrage ranger =).

Personally I like to train range as one of my things train.  This is because in the long run, it will be able to help me in manyh battles.  I am a pvp person myself, and although pvp is ruined, i still like killing ppl here and there.

P.S. What is the point of getting 99 firemaking?  That is literally the most pointless kill in the entire game.

Actually high level firemaking can be profitable. there are keys that you get to open chests that contain good items. the higher level your firemaking the higher level keys you can get.. This can be done after doing the shades of morton quest

Depends what most of you're stats are. Tanning green dragonhides is pretty good, with spottier cape, boots o' lightness, glory, and using the new ogre pools for unlimited run, you can tan at least 2k hides per hour, = 400k per hour (Depending on current GE price). Quite a good market for them, too.

I personally love to runecraft, which can bring in lots of cash, but training it is pretty boring

I voted Magic for the poll, because, in my opinion, it's one of the most versatile skills in the game.
