RP'ing a jerk...

Is this considered role-playing? Being a superhero gone bad that runs around kill-stealing? Leading a high-level mob to a populated safe zone? Sidekicking someone to a door mission then leaving them there in the middle of a fray? Rezzing someone during a fight?::::40::

(Disclaimer: I DO NOT advocate any of this. ::::26:: Just wondering if someone could get a way with saying - don't get mad at me - it's my character! ::::31::)

i think it is and if you consider doing that in RL, it's equivalent would be illegal regarding to the law system(user agreement) and if sentinels(admins) have the power to put you in jail(temp. ban/perma. ban) thats part of the role too image

Shit i'm bad... I self educated myself in ways of controlling feelings, now nothing feels like it's true... gotta be an assasin or sumtin.
even "WOW! YOU'VE GOT A GREAT EQUALIZER" gives your everyday fanboi an erection araound here so watch your mouth :D

Nah, that's called being an a-hole griefer. Using tricks in the system to cause headache on others in other words. But it's true what they say, what goes around comes around. Maybe not just in this game but some day, it does. Besides, I'd wait for City of Villians. I have the feeling the developers are going to be alot smarter than any of us on this. Using the player villians as a source of content and entertainment for everyone rather then just allowing a bunch of pricks to do as many anti-social acts as they can for their own amusement.

I was wondering what CoV might be like.

I've never played PvP, I just imagined I would be standing by a trainer and BAM some high level player would come knock me off!

Thugs eventually quit chasing you if you run far enough...how do you get rid of a determined player!?!

From what I've read, PvP in City of Villians will be consensual. You won't engage in it unless you want to and it's probably going to be in specific areas or in certain circumstances. There should be no worry minding your own business and suddenly getting ganked by kill happy players. Getting jumped and beat down while you're training isn't very heroic anyway. As for balance issues between varying levels/powers that remains to be seen.
