Hey there, I could be completely wrong, and if so, feel free to tell me so... but it looks like the dialogue in EQ2 is spoken auraly. Anyone have any idea if WoW is going to have NPC's with spoken dialogue. (And is it true that EQ2 will have spoken dialogue?)
I know that this doesn't seem like a big deal... But I'm trying to get all of the little details about these 2 games, as I'm going to buy one of them. So you guys should help me out with the decision.
Why EQ2 looks better: The graphics in EQ2 look amazing! I enjoy the fact that there is a realistic look to the game. I also enjoy the fact that SOE has quite a bit of experience with MMO's.
Why WoW looks better: Blizzard always perfects their work until it's near perfect, they strive to satisfy the consumers... Where as SOE I find doesn't have very good customer support and they seem to care less about problems. I also didn't like the first EQ2 much due to the fact that I found it a little on the boring side, but it looks like EQ2 will be different... But I still find it hard to forget how bad the first one was to me.
Anyway, I'll end it here and let you all give me your thoughts.

Yes, the EQ II NPCS have actual voice overs - you can see that mode of interaction in the new tutorial zone in old EQ. Just gen up a new toon and go check it out in the 30 day trial if you like.
No clue about WoW.
I'm just hanging out in EQ for the foreseeable future.

Yes, I'm a smartass. Deal with it.
That's right, I'm a fanboy of EQ... WOOOHHOOO... When I clearly said I found the first one boring... But you probably got a little excited and forgot to read the rest.

*Scratches head* I was actually leaning towards WoW, but everyone seems to have the idea that I'm more for EQ2, when the only real good quality I gave it was good graphics, but hey.. Graphics aren't everything.
Thanks for the tip

Its spelt 'oral'.
I think its great that EQ2 decided to do this. It does mean that installation disc numbers are significantly increased, and it will take a lot more room on your hard drive, but to me neither of these things are actually a problem. Voice overs will hopefully make the game much more immersive. Im sure they will have text as well, to cater for the speakerless
