How is the pvp?

Hi was wondering how the pvp in this game.I'm going to try it but i like pvp so i was wondering how it is.Can someone come and attack you anytime they want but not in town?
(i love that pvp).
or is it only like boring guilds vs guilds or something?

The game does have PvP but not just open PvP.
Land battles can be done in the Arena, you can attack anyone in that (tiny) zone.
On the sea it's just PvP between guilds, but only if you are hostile with them (I think). You need to send a declarement of hostility and then if you meet the hostile guild on the seas, you can attack the enemy.
it`s pvp you need certain levels can`t remember exactly but i think it`s above 32 sea battle to pvp same for land skill don`t need guilds,but it`s harshly penalized it`s red name game only started pk`ing with a lev 10 raider so i could try and out run npc ships and ppl. tryed being a real pirate but it`s more for roleplay and a cool flag.io and theres prison locked up for 12 real hours last time
Sad to say the majority of PVP in the game is based totally on who has more skill levels and who has more potions to survive it.
You can board other ships but if they're neutral to your guild then you become a PK, and overall being a pirate in the game is very tough because if you are caught its mostly game over waiting for the timer to finish while you sit in jail. Or you can play a crappy mastermind type game to get out faster.
the land battle is fun, you can enjoy the fight with good dragon set and wonderful ornaments
the guild war is most exciting. both sea battle and land battle
Mostly guild vs. guild warfare (city sieges).
PKing outside sieges come with stiff penalities (jail time is real life hours that must be served logged in, unless you can beat the guards in a little side game).
Be warned, if you don't spend $$$ in IM buying auto leveling and double XP scrolls, you'll be dead pretty soon. Almost everyone now is in epic armor, and maxed out their ships. Way too top heavy now, so new players won't survive.
BTW, PvP can happen anywhere, including inside cities. All a guild city owner needs is serve a PK scroll, and kill off anyone inside the city and it's offshore. If you got costly IM goods, buy another costly guardian scroll to prevent your expensive toys from dropping, too!

Now this game sounds really fun. I really hope this game is worth the 1.2gb download If not T.T i downloaded 15gb already and now 5gb left for the 9 days left till i new usage.
