A friend upgraded to another card and had a spare ATI Radeon 1950 pro sitting around so I decided to try crossfire on my system.

While I was getting it working I tried fury and it crashed with a weird directx error.

Now when I try to log in I get the message "You were disconnected from the server." when it tries to load the sanctuary.

The weird thing is when I try to log in on my other box I get the same message now.

I've put a support ticket in but after a day still no fix or response.

Has anyone else had a problem like this and how did you get it fixed?

I found a link on the official forums but no fix.

    Hmm you might have to re-install the game... I think the game keeps a record of your previous video card settings and when you added the extra vid card it couldn't process the new info.

    Tried low spec, reset, etc.

    Also tried on a different machine, different install of the game, same error.

    Will try making a new account to see if I can log in.  If that doesn't work I'll try forcing a new external IP address on our router and see if I got blocked off the server somehow.

    Still no response from Fury support.

    Made a new hotmail account and made a new chosen account.  Logs in fine.  Ran the tutorial and ran around a bit.  Tried to log in with my proper account with all my stuff on it and still disconnected from the server on the first log screen.

    Wouldn't mind playing the game.  Was going to try to get a friend to start playing as well but it seems pointless atm.  Will try another support ticket.   Rapidly becoming not worth the time...

    Still waiting for a response from support.

    Really starting to second guess if I should have spent the money and put the time in on this game.  I had some fun with it but it's very frustrating not being able to play because of a problem on the server side.

    With the way things have gone with the company I'm not sure if anybody is still listening to the support tickets.  The fact that the official forums are still offline is very worrying.

    I can't contact anyone in game logging in as chosen because support is only for subscribers but my subscriber account can't log in...

    Will give it till sometime next week.  I wonder if I can contest the charges on my credit card since I'm really not getting what I paid for.

    I can log in again and have been having fun with the game.  No response from the tech department to my tickets.

    Could have just been a server reboot that fixed my account or maybe they're just too busy fixing things to reply.

    Hope it doesn't happen again.

    I have had the same problem ever since I bought the game.  Have not been able to play even once!  Please help!!!! been a month since I bought it and am realy frustrated by now!@!

    If you're having the exact same problem as the OP, and I mean if you tried reinstalling, resetting the config files, tried different graphic settings, and also tried different computers with the same account, try creating a new chosen account (if that option is available yet due to lack of keys), and if that will let you log on, I'm 99% sure its a server-side account issue, and not a problem you can fix without perhaps, like the OP said, a server reboot, or a dev dierctly confronting the problem.  My guess for the lack of dev-player interaction was probably due to their past experiences with the community, a reason why they also could have the boards shut down until they get things right for the game.

    So if you can submit a ticket if you haven't done so, cross your fingers and hope they get to you about your problem.  Thats my suggestion

      Not sure why they haven`t responded , anytime I contacted them in the past they always respond very quickly . It may have to do with the new support system they recently put into place that uses a seperate registration from your game account registration .

    I only just got the game and i was playing through the tutorial and alt tabbed out. Then i had to destroy the process because it had crashed and now i can't log back in either.



    Sent in a ticket but im unsure if it will be fixed....

    Hopefully it will be fixed by on tuesday which is when they restart the servers and do maintenance

    Are they still doing server maintenance? I havent been on of a Tuesday night for a while now...

    I wonder why its so hard for them to do at least ONE patch to fix a few common bugs... I mean theyre probably going to bring out a better Fury if they are really working on one, but for now at least a patch would stop people from leaving due to a few stupid bugs... >.<

    well i hope they do because otherwise i seem to be screwed

    Also I was playing on my friends account and got into the tutorial again by accident or the area where u test your weapons and incarnations idk wat its called. Ended up alt tabbing again and now he cant get in. seems there are issues afoot

    This should solve itself after awhile....

     

    If not, be sure you have put in a ticket.  Be sure to update it as well if you continue having problems.

     

    I'll compile a list of names to pass on if this problem exists after the next reset.

    Ok I'll make sure to let the team know there is a group of players who cannot get in.

     

    PM me here or on the fury forums with:

     

    Your account name

    Out of curiousity, what's your account status? (chosen, hero or immortal? )

    What happened that caused you to be unable to log in (alt-tabbing during tut, alt-tab in sanc, crash, etc..)

    How long you've been unable to log in.

    And your ticket #'s to customer support.

     

    I'll be compiling this throughout the Day US. (6 AM here, 10 PM at the FURY offices) and will be forwarding it on up around midday their time.

    I've notified the team - There wasn't a reset on the last scheduled time, however there will be one on the Thursday Brisbane time. (same time as Tuesdays are)  They also have the ticket #'s and account names for those who sent me theirs, so this should be fixed one way or the other shortly.

    Good News: this should be fixed,  It seems this is a nuisance during the tutorial, so try not to alt-tab

    Thank Cameron, and the rest of the team on issues that have been brought up. 

     

    The team is still there guys, just most are so busy they don't have much time to interact, so I'm trying to get what I can for you guys.  Note there should be a reset about 11 PM CST Wednesday evening, if I'm converting right..
