I have flamed Dev's and players alike and NEVER had a post deleted, or even locked (Don't believe me, my name is Jodokai on that board too). Typically when people think SOE has deleted a post, what actually happend is that everyone who read the post thought it was so idiotic that they one star it. The default settings for the boards is to hide all posts that are 1 stared

Yeah, i got one. Wait until JtL comes out when they have a full dev team so instead of throwing out the recent quick fixes we have seen over the past 4 months we can have a full team dedicate themselfs to not just change numbers or add a new items, but to give them game a new facelift...
seriously.... once the expansion comes out i think 1-3 months after we will begin to see a lot of good happening

What would stop the dev team from beginning work on another expansion and holding off on the combat balance? They lied about it before, 100 bucks says they'll lie about it again. Maybe they will work on a Combat Balance Expansion that we can buy for a low price of $40... No thanks.
I've had a post deleted, in which I tried to help frustrated new players solve issues with keys that came back as already registered.
I posted the relevant information to UK buyers of SWG copies who had their new game keys come back as 'already registered'. This was a very annoying problem, and I never learned how or why it happened, but I found out by myself (NO help from SOE or LucasArts at ALL) that I had to call the Activision Hotline in the UK in order to get the faulty key exchanged for a working one.
I posted this information on the Technical Issues board where a bunch of people were asking for help on the issue, and the mods there told the people asking for help to contact SOE, like I was originally told. SOE was absolutely no help at all, and their responses gave me the very clear impression that they hadn't read my e-mails very well, and I was miffed at their support, especially after I found out myself how to have the key exchanged for a working one. SOE and LucasArts did not know this, and so when I told people with faulty UK keys to contact Activision's Hotline in the UK for a new key, the post was deleted the day after I looked to check in on it.
The whole ordeal has left me with a low esteem of SOE and of LucasArts in part.
I wrote the mod who deleted my post, and this was my mail to him:

It's not easy to find out what to do if you get an invalid key, and my mails to SOE (who told me to write LucasArts, who gave me horrible advice, really they did) and LucasArts came back with no help for me. Only after a thorough search on these forums did I find a month and a half old post saying that you had to call Activision in the UK at +44 (0)870 241 2148.
Why was my advice deleted? I find the information I gave in that post rather essential if you had a non-working UK code.

umm they know they pissed us off dude, they dont want to lose anymore customers... you think SOE is trying to sabotage SWG?? you're wrong... these guys have been working 5 years on the game... the devs all play the game... you think they want to see it crumble infront of them after the hard work??? hell no.
what you forget is before launch one of the most demanded things (minus vehicles, mounts, and player cities) was space... they did that with the intention of making us happy... once JtL comes out it will make a lot of us happy... and keep us busy while they work on the GCW and the Combat Revamp...
if you're sick of SOE lieing and think they will never fix the game... and you hate it and dont want to play you can always quit.... pretty simple and will get a lot of stress out of your life
