Looking for a certain type of keyboard...

Hello. I am buying parts for a new computer I am building slowly and will be hooking up the computer to my Samsung Hi-Def 30 widescreen TV on my entertainment center.

I was thinking that I'd love to then be able to power up this PC, power on my Hi-Def TV, and kick back on my sofa and go online. So what I'm wanting is a keyboard that I can slap on my lap with a built in mouse roller ball or something so it's all right there in my lap. Obviously a wireless keyboard/mouse is what I'd desire here.

I have a vision of a keyboard and mouse built in one piece that maybe has a cloth material on the bottom with a bean bag type filling that would give it some weight and ability to kind of mold itself to your legs when you put it in your lap.

I'm guessing there isn't such a keyboard, but I am quite surprise that there isn't more of a demand for such a "kick back on the sofa and cruise the web" type of keyboard with a mouse ball built into it.

If anyone has a suggestion or idea, please feel free here... and oh yeh, thanks in advance.

Did a quick search best I could find was this.

    Keysonic Wireless Keyboard/Touchpad ACK-540RF

Bottom is not a beanbag material but I suppose it could be modded to suite your needs. Plus at only 500 grams it is not too heavy.

Also may want to look at this option too.

    Nice finds there guys, thanks!

That top one from thecore looks to be a pretty nice keyboard from Logitech. I think I'll snag that lil' beauty. The keyboard from Whoopin looks pretty good too, but I don't like the idea of the mouse below the keyboard, I think I'd rather have it to the side like it's placed on the Logitech one. Anyhow, thanks for the help, MUCH appreciated. It'll be nice as hell to be able to just sink into my nice comfy sofa and cruise the net or play an mmo or whatever!

have you looked into any of those wireless air controllers as well ?

i know gyration (i think the company is called) makes a controller keyboard set, and logitech has one that's a few months old.

No problem but if you get a powerboard to rest it on make sure you shop around that was the 1st link that came up. So I am sure it is cheaper other places.

Also I think the top link thecore posted looks best also :)
