Hi there ,
I find this game really interesting i played it 1 time in some privat server reached lvl 24 dark elf(bow) and i got bored as i always solo and server was dead.
Now after 2 years i want to get back to it and play it for a while ( reach high levels).
I live in uk so im not sure if i can play global or can i? or is there any special europe servers? Well it does not matter were it is but i would like people who speak in eglish and small latency. So if you can recommend me plz.
Now about the class i want to have 1 main character and go all the way with it. I would like to be strong useful in parties good in pvp tank like. Basicaly kick a$% 
So im not sure wich one to be human, dark elf , or the new class kamael ore something.
and they have classes to so im confused...

There are 2 euro servers; Teon & Franz.
The classes; You seem to be looking for a generalized all around good character. There is no such thing. If you are strong in one area, you'll be weak in another. You might want to consider playing a Blade Dancer (dark elf fighter). It has UD and wears heavy armor, which makes it hard to die (tank like). It has great buffs which partys love (both in PvE and PvP). The down side is that the Blade Dancer is not a hardcore damage dealer. So you'll need a party to kill with. A real "tank" is not going to be great in pvp or pve IMO. But if thats what you want, I can't advise you since I don't know those very well. Maybe a Dark Avenger (human fighter). Also consider the Orc Fighters, they're pretty strong.
what about paladins ? are they any good ?
and what class would you thins is best for pvp
Like I said, I don;t know tanks well. Paladin is a healer-tank. It lives along time and thats about all it does.
Best PvP class? That always changes. I could tell you to make an archer but by the time you get high level mages will probably be overpowered again.
Best PvP mages: Spellsinger, Necromancer, maybe even Spell Howler
Best PvP archers: Hawkeye, Phantom Ranger, maybe even the light elf archer whos name escapes me ATM.
If you want more defense, maybe try an Orc Tyrant.
mh im still not sure what i want to be i would like to use sword / swords /shield + sword and would like to be needed/useful in partys as i hate to play alone
it's been awhile since i played, but i remember my gladiator was fairly easy to level and they are fun to pvp with aswell (once you get into higher levels or find someone ur level in the field). I played last back when they added in the herbs to help people level a bit easier, and with that and a few pots i soloed into my 50's without many problems (ofcourse my guild helped me my lending me +4 high end dual C grade swords) if you wanna play heavy tank, i remember that Dark Avengers were a good class. you get a pet for added dps and can tank well. as far as range classes go (if you wanted to play one) spell howlers are supposed to be good for newer players as they have highest dmg per spell (but slower casting time) I dont recommend necro/archers as a first class as they need alot of money to level up.

If you do the tank and sword route which is a Dark Avenger, you wont be tanking anything but raid mobs. Most high level groups use evasion tank archers. Unless they have changed that in the latest Chronicle.
Myself i have a 72 BD which uses dual swords and is always wanted in parties. They are not bad at PvP if you know how to play them, but there is not many that play them correct. Swordsinger is the defensive buffer in trade of the Blade Dancer.
PvP and Seige PvP is also a little different so choosing classes which you like more depends on if you like open pvp or siege. Siege = Human class, open pvp I would go elf for archers and mages. Thats just my preference. My PR owns in open combat, but sucks when sieging due to low hp.
well i would like do sieges some day, as well i would like to inflict great damage its going to be human , or dark elfs not sure yet.
what about that new class?
might play bd if it is so important in partys as being in party and being needed is my mane priority
The new classes, as far as I can tell, are kind of middle of the road non-specialists. They seem to not really excell at anything, and not really have any huge drawbacks.
I think you would be really happy playing a BD. You'll never have problems finding a party, you use dual swords, you have UD, and wear heavy armor so you can even tank a little bit. Did I mention that the BD buffs are leet? They are. And you get Medusa at high level (petrify all enemys around you).
Humans only really excel in sieges due to have more hp then elfs. DE hit the hardest of all races and classes, however can be killed easy. Lightelfs have high defense compared to others, while humans are about middle road.
I have not played the new classes or yet seen them due me not playing atm, so I wont comment on them. If you want to try a free server that has good population try L2-PvPx for testing classes out.
if you quit cause you always soloed i think you do the same on retail server's before you get high enof to have a fair chance off finding party's but as everyone else said bladedancer is probly the class you want
Well as i stand it is between Gladiator ,Dark avenger and Blade dancer. I dont know much about gladiator, or dark avenger can you give some detail on them hes strenghts weaknesses?

Gladiator is a dual sword user can either go heavry or light armor but most go with heavry, has okay damgede and nice special's for pvp, but is a lot harder to get group's then bladedancer.
Then they's Dark Avenger who is a tank with hate aura, and heavry armor shield, they also have a nice summon Panther but it takes 15 % off your exp and is exespensive in crystal's not to mention Beast SoulShot's if you want it to do damgede. the hardest class to get group's with.
oh and without a buffer/buff's you can't really solo with any off the 3 classes once you get pass 5x lvl's

Hopefully will start this friday as i am remaking my pc i gues q6600 4 gigs ram and two 3870 in crossfire will handle the game flawlessly.

check out the clan Bloodygnu on Teon then, has a lot off low lvl member's, so its a good place just go in under Community ingame and clan's to see the leader off Bloodygnu
It just comes down to play style, and since each class is mostly focused on one thing, whatever you normally like to do you probably will be happy with the class you choose. and aslong as you find a guild by the time your in B grade you shouldnt have alot of problems with grouping.

can't really is just a expression for it's not worth it, you solo far to slow without buff's and you probly end up losing adena's spending soulshot's like that (depends on your hunting spot)..
it's also 5x + it's not from 1 to 50 im talking about
However you will most likely want to play on a Euro server to take advantage of siege times, etc.
