Endless Ages is an older game. Just got bought by a new company and is be re-built. If you like mmorpgs-fps this is a great game. They are currently awaiting Beta to start which should be very soon. First step will be Closed beta, where you have to pre-order an subscription which comes with a T-Shirt and free Game CD in order to get access to the closed beta. Followed by Open beta where everyone has access.

Can you show where the current company purchased the IP from Rapid Reality? If not... best of luck

If they cant show that... then its just RR making another run at money IMO.
Ill get a hold of jason who bought the engine and game and see if i can get that answer

So far, until they show otherwise, that's my consensus on the game as well. I don't recommend anyone to tryi it until a definite change in ownership and devs has been proven. Even then, I wouldn't advise anyone to pre-order a game with such a faulty background/past.

Proving this beyond a shadow of a doubt should IMO be the devs biggest goal.
Being an indy dev is hard enough with out the RR anchor dragging you down.
I've been following the game for awhile now and I believe it's legit. Even so I still won't pre-order or expect anyone else to due to the games less then reputable past. Anything smelling even remotely of Rapid Reality is going to be hard to trust.
Things are a lot different then they use to. I have high hopes in this new project/company.

Just tell me one thing, how many more times are you tards going to say that "things have changed" before it actually does? That's a trick question by the way. Endless Ages is already making a bad rep for itself if this is the case.
Does not sound good to me guys. Really not worth my time and my money. Before you folks start making new MMO's and flooding it with crap from companies thatare broke... You should goto school more for marketing and budgeting expertise.
Why would you buy into beta? Its 10 bucks pre order CD + Shirt + 1 month game play when the games gold... There is no cost at all.. Also Open Beta is Open beta like all of them... Theres a closed beta for pre orders thats all..

seriously, its most likely the same tards trying to make more money off a 10 year old game. all the games they were designing are dead and buried, and the one they bought into is the only one that actually works(i said works, i know its 10 years old and wasnt very good 10 years ago, so what would make it good today).
what would you expect them to say, "Hey we are the people that ripped you guys off and lied over and over, stole money, and vanished. We are here to do it again"? nah, they would come up with some story like 'a fan of the game bought it and is re releasing it'

No I think a simple grow up and if you don't like it bug off is better.. So what they have had a bad fall off. The leader/owner of it and a new company is owned by Jason Lee and a good RL friend whos never even touched the game before.
10 Bucks does not get you into beta... 10 Bucks gets you into there rare closed beta that gets you a 2 week before open beta.... They already have a closed beta like most games with hardly any invites since there keeping a lot shh shh...
Lots of games offered a guaranteed beta slot if they pre ordered... So blame most games out there for that... Sad part is I know Jason Lee not in RL but someone on MSN for a long time.. Nothing special but he was just a normal player who brought a old game and restored it for a small play base who will all tell you this is there game of there dreams..
So before you go into bashing please step back wait a month see how it goes... Pre orders are done from paypal easy to get your money back and also its a open beta and its free of course so wait like eveyone else..

i bought the game years ago i still have the box and cd, if someone legit owns the game now they will honor the fact i bought it already right? send me my super secret closed beta spot and my spiffy tshirt please.
and no, we won't 'bug off' if i got to mcdonalds and pay for my value meal, then they just decide not to give it to me i should just grow up and leave? i should pay second time hoping they give up the mcnuggets this time? then a third time?

SWG Sells the same game then add-ons.. And then sells the game+add-ons after you paid a arm and a leg for them WITH extra bonus to try make people who already paid for it all pay for it again.. That is marketing.Also Just for you since you bought the game you will wave the client free Since its free... All hes charging is the first Month subscription and get a free shirt and CD..
But like I said lets wait and see and I will prove its real..
Also the game is not using the old engine there infact working on it and have been working on it for a long time..

Come on this game is not the next World of Warcraft but if they live up to there word and I will bet it they will you will be happy.. Now may come down to it not being you cup of tea but thats something else..

Your signature is wrong. This game is NOT the "First Ever MMO FPS." Neocron beat you to that punch LONG ago. So stop overselling your game with false advertising.
I wouldnt worry, they still havent satisfactorily explained the jump for EA to RR and now back to EA. Few people are going to risk the money on them for a third time.
