Games I've tried:
Knight Online, Silk Road, CABAL Online, MapleStory, Dofus, D&D Online, Guild Wars, Flyff, Runescape, World of Warcraft.
Games I enjoyed:
World of Warcraft (3 Years) and Runescape (5 Years)
What I'm looking for:
An MMORPG that will last longer then a week. I'm in to heavy PvE with some light PvP on the side. Genre really doesnt matter, but I'd choose Fantasy/Sci-Fi over anything else. Cost needs to relatively cheap. Being a Highschool student I don't exactly have a large sum of money to blow on a game + monthly payments. Since I'm a really impatient person and I've grown tired of waiting for Age of Conan and Warhammer Online I'd really appreciate any and all suggestions.
Thanks...

Honestly u dont have many choices. I suggest Eve but its heavily pvp oriented. There is a 14 days trial, so why not. Or wait for WAR/Aoc like man others.
PS Lineage2, u could give this game a shoot too however its grindy.
Sorry for my eanglish.
Whats it like?
Both Lineage 2 and EVE are heavy PvP based (although there are a few neutrals in Lineage 2, you won't be seeing as a reward in grinding if you do not end up PvPing). EVE is Sci-fi while Lineage 2 is fantasy and both cost $14.95 a month (you should be able to get L2 time cards at your local store, they are Plaync cards, EVE not so sure about that).

Hmmm a few games come to mind that may or may not be for you. Ragnarok online can be either heavy pve oriented or pvp oriented depending on if you want to go that route. It's a monthly fee based game with an item mall etched in now. But, on the Ragnarok side you might be best waiting for the sequel sure it will be very similar in terms of the dynamics of its predecessor Although, with the countless games I've played very few are light on pvp and can last in the long haul. People strive to fight one another and that tends to keep things interesting and players continuing with the game. As with Lineage 2 it's far easier to avoid getting dragged into the whole pvp thing as long as you're respectful of others. Seen way more people explode on eve for a variety of colorful reasons( maybe its the atmosphere who knows) Back when I played City of Heros+Villains the pvp was kinda light there. People weren't much opted to fight unless someone sucker punched them. As for the majority of whats out there well you know the drill. Can come crumbling down or drag on with the same old same old for months until its updated, or bugs fixed. Seems like the p2p games are the better way to go nowadays.
You could try Tabula Rasa. It's a new gendre and you might like it. I don't know where you life but there are stores selling Tabula Rasa for 20 here so you can try it out for one mounth for only 35 (account + fee)
I'm about to buy it too, don't have it yet. Info comes from friends who'r enjoying it.

If you liked WoW, Lord of the Rings Online is probably worth a look. That's almost all PvE (PvP is confined to one part of the world). Plus it seems to be improving and growing each patch.
Tabula Rasa is interesting and different, but kinda lacking an end game at the moment.
