I'm just swimming across Lake Evendim on my way to hunt down some Gauredain and I'm dreaming of future updates and the even more fantastic places they'll be bringing into the game.
Book 12 just hit, I still haven't seen everything in the current game. I'm in no rush for more content myself yet, but I know it's coming. I know what I want to see..but I'm curious what everyone else is looking forward to.. I love hunting in the Misty Mountains at dusk.

By the way... nice poll! Nice to see a poll that actually has some options that are presented in a non-biased way. Very refreshing indeed.
Edit: Forgot to add. You may be getting a reprieve on that swimming in Book 13. Boats are rumored to be on the way. The devs have said something new in the way of transportation is coming with Book 13 (The Hobby update). Since fishing is going in with Book 13... boats seem like a logical choice. They have also said that Book 13 will bring us our first view of the ocean.
Mines of Moria ! ... i think it is planned for payed update coming end of this year
And Mirkwood !! I cant wait to see it
Personally, i want rohan.

I can't waIt to see Minas Tirith ... and great poll by the way
You forgot Mordor!
Great post....
Well if you're looking at this from the logical way (from where we started geographically and following the books chronologically), then one would assume we would see Moria and Mirkwood long before we see the likes of Minas Tirith and Mordor.
But I would really like to see Mirkwood(not just because I'm an elven Hunter). I mean just the vast size of the forest one could imagine what Turbine can come up with. Not to mention Sauron's "vacation house" Dol Guldur is located there. Ah the possibilities
I really hope they never put Mordor in the game, unless perhaps they do it on a timeline after the fall of Sauron.

I'm looking forward to Rohan. They could add new faction mounts. Maybe even ones that are swifter than the regular mounts.
I kind of threw it in with Barad-dûr, I did forget Helm's Deep though.

I'm pretty stoked about the prospect of seeing any part of Gondor, though the parts of the world that appear in the Hobbit hold a special significance for me since they were not visualized in the live-action movies. They have retained a bit of their literary magic for me - so that includes Mirkwood, Lake Town, and the Lonely Mountain.

Moria for me!!
awesome poll
Yes it would, I hadn't even thought about that. The entire Mordor zone would probably work also.
Id love to find my way into the Lonely moutains and perhaps some of the surrounding forests. Especially the mirkwood to the southwest. So many places still to see and live in
I am greedy i want to see all of those you put in the poll and more. I didn't vote cause you didn't have that option in the poll.

I thought the same as well. Mordor would the ultimate in PvP for this game. I also thought that since these books seem to follow with the actual story that Mordor would be the last major expansion and in a way would be a good opportunity to allow players to create evil characters. However in thinking about it more it still may be tough to do that and still keep with the lore. Maybe they could do a 4th Age addition where Sauron was defeated and the servants of Mordor have scattered out into the other lands of Middle earth. Don't know if that would work since the elves are suppose to be gone by then. Don't know about the hobbits and dwarves since I don't know too much about the 4th Age lore. Anyway...just doing a bit of brainstorming.
I would love to see updated NPC animations, and a heavier arsenal on armors in cloneland. Fix that, and I might, just might have myself come back Tired of looking at wolfes etc. running like they have a latency of 5000.
Oh and also, discard PvMP, worst excuse for a pvp solution ever, and add real pvp. Really sad such a great story, got lost on such a bad project. This game could use tweaks so many places, yet they went ahead and released it, half done.
I'd love to see Rohan and Lothlorien as new areas to explore, and Moria and Mordor as new PvMP areas.
I guess we'll soon see a new addition to the Misty Mountains, when the fellowship leaves Rivendell and heads to Caradhras. There was also a speculation that Turbine will be adding The Tower Hills in Book13.
I voted for Rohan, I'd love to see the vast fields with riding warriors, however I also would like to explore ingame all the other places Tolkien created. And I hope Turbine will be adding another big area in the next book, like they did in Book9.
By the way, this site (www.visionsofthering.com/) has a nice flash map, showing what areas are likely to come next
All I can say is...HAHAHAHA..what an apt name you have
I kind of threw it in with Barad-dûr, I did forget Helm's Deep though.
Yea and what about isengard?

Well I love this game but common dont be a fun boy and confest that he has got a point .....
"that game is only half way done" is not an opinion its a freaking fact...
even this pool list so many area missing ,
its barely 10% of middle earth in the game so by my opinion it is a 10% game finished
but that does not mean that game is bad ......
in fact its having a great potential

Okay maybe i misunderstood him. I was looking at it as what launched wasn't halve done. As far as all the area that we know about that isn't in the game yet. If you went by that the game wasn't even a quarter of the way done.
The guy i quoated was talking about how the game needed tweeked and how even though it was only halve done they launched it anyway. That speaks to me about the state of the game when it launched. Not the state of the map.
I will play this game until it finally closes down. But i am no fan boy. It has it's flaws like any game and i am not blind to them. But to say a game that has had one of the best launches in history needs tweeking and they launched it halve done to me is moronic.
Maybe he was talking about the play area, he should of specified that then.
The titles I came up with for the boxed expansions:
Journey into Moria
The Wraith of Dol Guldur
Revenge of Isengard
The Fate of Gondor
