Hey there,
I played SWG about 2-3 years ago, and suddenly had the urge to try it out again (NGE notwithstanding).
I think I have a free trial or something - my Subscription status says "pending" not "cancelled" - but my original install disk is in my parents' house a few hundred miles away.
Is there a way of just downloading the game client? I couldn't work it out. There is a "sign up for 14 day trial" option, but I assumed that was just for completely new players.
Any advice much appreciated,

It should still let you download the client with the trial (I think). So just try downloading it and getting all the patches. Sorry if this info is wrong I haven't played SWG in a long time. I've thought about giving it another try here soon because i'm tired of playing WoW, and PotBS isn't as good as I thought it was lol.
Got to www.tryswg.com and download the two files there. It's for the 14 day trial, but it's all the same files. The only difference with this way is that when you click the "New Account" button on the Launchpad, you'll have the option to start it as a trial.
Best to use a download manager as they're fairly large files.
Yep - do the exact same thing as me... waiting hours for it to complete the DL. You hit the .exe file.. it goes to 99% and "BOOOYAAH j000 f1l3 1z ERROR!!!!!"
