After watching the gamespot trailer, i have to say the Halo man concerns me. it doesn't fit with the canon of SG-1 or Atlantis. And is extremely out of place.
Im dying to play this game as i am a huge fan of the franchise but this is concerning. SWG said they were going to be true to the story as well and that didn't get past day 1.
Ive heard some say this is the "evil humans" but that in itself makes no sense. The evil or shall i say misguided humans in SG-1 were the Trust, humans like you or me not with full body armor that looks JUST like it came out of a HALO video game. 
Shouldn't we see military fatigues. I know the devs won't put armor like this in the game - I hope!

Dude I agree as a franchise fan it is difficult to look at it without asking what? and why? But I think it is need to drawn in the larger audience, for this game has to compete with many fantasy games and if it can come off, for lack of a better word "cartoony" this could help the game survive, sorta sell its sole though. This also lets the game go into area the shows time length and budget let it go before. So there are many pros and cons, not sure if I am on either side I just hope the game is fun and awesome at the least... no pressure devs.
