Graphics bug help please

Ive been playing vanguard off and on since release and never really had any problems till now. The enviroment will start flickering and then ill lock up for about 10 seconds. My card is a NVIDIA GT 7800. Can anyone help me out?

look for a setting called hardware occlusion I think that is the one. Anyway disable it and the problem should go away.

I get the same thing with my Nvidia 7950, it's the Hardware Occlusion. I don't know if it's just a glitchy option (in VG? No way!) or if it doesn't like Nvidia cards, but I have to leave it off or my entire world starts flickering with every movement.
Does this option work properly on ATI cards?? I always wondered that. Since it is hardware occlusion it makes it sound like it is a video card issue. but who knows.
Probably should default to off....

I just changed to an ATI card and the problem still occurred until i turn off HO.
