Hi

so far the game and world seem more a pain to learn than it's worth but i could be wrong..I was given the 19.95 box as a present but I'm not sure about the game as something worth sticking with...any pros and cons on the game appreciated.

    Id pass personally.

    Its buggy

    Has horrible support

    Doesnt ban botters on first or second offense

    AFKing and botting is RAMPANT!

    Cash shop is required once you hit 100 to advance, and its 25 bucks to upgrade your toons, thats a lot of money for a F2P game.

    K2 has little contact with the community

    K2's corporate leaders do not allow the few who do have contact wtiht he community to inform them about 90% of the upcoming stuff.

    It seemes a pain to get started too...not intuitive to me.....thanks..feedback helps.

    I had a lot of fun in Swords of the New World for about 3 months.

    Its free to play.

    I never had problems with bugs.

    I left because when I got into the high 80's it was too much of a grind.  The higher the level, the longer it takes to gain a level, so the earlier levels were a lot quicker.

    There are areas where you can go afk while your trio of toons engage in combat automatically.  It takes away some of the grind but seemed pointless when a game should be about me having fun and being entertained.

    There is also PvP but I chose the PvE server, so cannot comment on that aspect.

    The game itself is easier to learn than a lot of MMO's.  However, like all MMO's there is a learning curve.

    As it is free,it is worth giving it a go.

    its a fun game. u can get caught up in the grind and make it boring or u can just enjoy the game as it is.

    level all chars up to 60 which is pretty easy or make level 40 or so tunes and go pkin for shits n giggles.

    all mmos are a treadmill. thats how they keep u playing. ppl dont get jobs cause they dont want to work, but they'd gladly work in a video game. i guess cause they feel they have a choice in the matter :)

     

    but yeah everyone wants a fun game, but that "fun" is relative to who u are as a player/user.
