World of Warcraft: Tons of Tuskarr

Blizzard has posted a faction overview of the Tuskar, the walrus like people who call the southern coasts of Northrend their home.
The tuskarr are a kind-natured nomadic race that roams the southern coastlines of Northrend, guided by the carved cyclopean statues that mark their seasonal fishing routes. The tuskarr's tribal affiliation is evidenced by the sigils inscribed on their tusks, and although they are a peaceful race, they are constantly beset by the Kvaldir and an arctic race of murloc-like creatures known as the Gorloc.
Yet even their enemies marvel at the tuskarr's prowess and fearlessness in catching some of the most dangerous creatures in Northrend's frigid waters, including whales and giant squid. Not even the unnamed leviathans that lurk in the ocean's depths are beyond the tuskarr's reach.
The tuskarr have seen their share of difficult times, but with the Horde's recent arrival they have found a new ally in the ongoing struggle against the hostile forces of Northrend.

Sweet, i hope we get to play that race. i think those look awesome. The small part about the beast in the seas off the coast of northrend, that sounds like some awesome game play too. Blizzard is the best and they they keep showing it in all their post.

I rather be a woolly mammoth anyway. A big ole woolly mammoth that stood upright and gored things with its FACE....then stomped them in THEIR face. Giant "cloud-esque" great swords optional. I suppose I could do with some maiming and slashing after the goring and stomping.
I really need programmers, artists, server techs, and modeling guys.
I too wish they would be a playable race but then again I hope to be playing Warhammer Online when WotLK is released.
wow this reminds of that scene in family guy with stephen king where hes in his editors office and the editor is asking about kings new book. and king just makes something up about people being attacked by a lamp monster and the editor responds by saying your not even trying anymore, and then just sighs and asks when hes going to get it.
thats how i imagine a lot of fans are reacting to that news. kinda sad if you think about it.

It's a little funny that people are bitching about them not trying anymore, when the Tuskarr are an established race from the WC3 expansion... when apparently Blizz were "still trying". Still, let's not let a little fact get in the way of our bitching...
Who said they tried really hard with that expansion anyway?

Man i'll never get good rep with those guys. I'll be too busy tryin to kill em and skin them for the blubber lol. Or maybe they will make them as a mount, and can go underwater with them lol.
