Yes, Every player in the game will be Conan, however to make sure everyone can tell each other apart, they have devised a clever way of actually Numbering the players, so lets say you make the 101st Conan, Well you are now Conan101, It's kinda hard to explain but I'm sure you'll figure it out.
Oh well. Be prepared for names like Koonan, Coanan, Canon, Kuhnan and so on.
I am gona play anything but Conan. Worst case for me would be playing Red Sonja
You get to meet Conan during your Destiny Quest ( a single story line that you progress in as you go from 1-80 that focuses on your own character) at some point, I think it varies depending on class/race. In the game Conan is the king of Aquilonia. I've also heard you can see him on a balcony waving to citizens when you're in the city he resides in (presumably the capital of Aquilonia, whatever that is).Obviously you can't play as Conan, since it's an MMORPG. You can meet him, as well as many other characters from Conan novels.

now, i'm not totally sure. like, i'm going out on a limb here...but with the title of this thread and the simplicity of the post, i think hes just joking, u know like uhm, humor maybe? so ya hes not serious and sure this would be the dumbest question if it weren't a joke. my god guys, alittle less elitism and alittle more laughter.

I don't get it why name a game Age of CONAN if I can't play Conan..
If this was a console game, then yeah, you can play as Conan. Since this is a MMO, you'd end up with 5000 Conan clones running around. And what will female gamers play as? Red Sonia? I doubt Conan was into cross-dressing.
If you want to play as Conan, just strip naked and tie a animal pelt around your waste and buy a sword on E-bay. There, now you are Conan.

So what your trying to tell me is after all the hype Age of Conan has been getting they didn't even make a Class called Conan? This is mind boggling, if Conan was the strong guy and no one can play him then if you ever meet him you lose. So why play age of Conan if you cant be Conan and be the best? Or we could simple rename the game Age of the Barbarians.

Have you read the background to the game on the official website? The dates are set, how old Conan is at the time, the storyline etc etc
