on the site it says that that server will have some different rules. anyone know what they are?

They'll be protecting RP in general a bit more there that's all.
The only concrete ruleset change we're currently aware of is a significantly stricter naming policy. (IE: No Konan, Drizzt, or g1v3m3h3ad characters)
Note: the GM crew is more likely to host story events on an RP server, quite simply because they tend to get a better response from that crowd. Funcom's events tend to be very funny at worst, and simply awesome at best, so that alone is a factor in deciding on a server.
