erm ......  hmmmmm .... would have thought I'd be used to the dissapointment by now, but all the beta testing and competitions only open to residents of Game Utopia  .....

    There is a way to solve that. Get on the case of those european software developers and publishers to do their part. Then you can be the ones sticking their tongue out at us Utopians and going "Nyaaah, nyaaah nyaaah, You can't have any!"

    It can be quite disheartening, but it isnt just the beta giveaways and the competitions that leave us Europeans behind the curve and wishing our foregathers had emigrated.

    When a game is finally released, it only gets released in America & Canada. I had to wait ages for SWG despite having helped out in Beta (Ok it porbably felt like ages, something like 3 weeks or so for a box to posted over here!).

    DAoC was similar. It was so dissapointing not to be a part of launch day. (grr dont get me started on the european launch... ::::16:: )

    I think it is a problem that will get bigger in the near future since mmo's require more and more investment and the smaller software houses will really struggle. Once the internet is faster, downlaoding software is de-rigour and globalisation is true then maybe we will get more opportunities, ok so my childrens children will get more opportunities. ::::39::

    lol must have had my G W Head on ... erm well it was like 3 am .... hmmm or maybe my spelling is off when I'm upset...... or maybe .... just maybe I shouldnt have bothered whinging lol.

    Well we get the games late.... but patched better... and miss out on flakey early beta programs.... but on the upside this is where history comes from image
