won't the ranged players have a huge advantage in the air vs a melee player? since they have to fly close to the ranged player to hit them(i think)
There's a game mechanic that limits/controls your flight time. You won't be flying all the time in fact they want flight to be something used strategically instead of being an "always on" travel power. I think ranged classes will always have a slight advantage versus melee players (flying or not) but to balance the difference I think ranged classes will be weak in terms of defense so the challenge will be trying to avoid being too close to the melee classes.

The fact that the "Ranged" player such as a Ranger can fly doesn't give them any advantage over any other class such as a Warrior. The Warrior can also fly. All flying does is offer an extra dimension to the battlefield.

yea i guess it doesn't change anything if they both fly, but what if the melee person has run out of flight time then the only thing to do would be to run away until the ranger ran out of flight time?
and another thing can an assasin go in stealth while flying?

That's why flight is a strategical "choice" and not just a mode of transportation.
As far as being able to stealth while in flight. I honestly can't say as I don't know. I personally would think so, but one thing to understand is that while you are in flight mode you have a different "skill set" vs when you are on the ground/not flying.

It adds 1 more option for the range player to avoid melee.
It buff range. As now the melee also have to consider vertical deplacement. See that first hand in CoX. :P It is mostly a PvP consideration however, as in PvE it is far less dramatic (computer close any distance easily, be it vertical or horizontal).

You are not gonna like this game Anofalye, it's supposed to have very few instances. You won't be able to hide from other players interfering with your adventuring.
