Why no xbox360 fans?

Ive been looking through these forums and alot others and many people complain about how they dont think there computer's can run this game. Why not just go out and buy the 360 version instead? IMO AoC seems like it's designed more for the xbox 360 anyway's.

I think that the fact that there is no release date yet for the 360 version is the main reason for the lack of interest at this time.  Hard to get excited over something which may or may not come out at some undetermined future date ....

Because the Xbox360 version will be released more than 6 months after the PC version.

I'd rather be fortifying a Battle Keep with my guild than wait for the 360 version.

I got a 360, and theres no way Im gonna play this game on a console, some games are just not meant for consoles! and in my opinion, nor is this.

I wonder if you have an account on PC, if or when the xbox verson comes out you can log on either.  I think (that is if the xbox version is up to par and on same servers) it would be a great alternative if you have a family member occupying the PC to jump on the 360 and play the same toons.

(just an idea I thought I would throw out)

To be honest, I will probably buy both. Im sure there will be benifits for the PC version and Xbox360 version, wont really know until they're both released.

We know that when the XboX360 version launches it will be a "bigger" game that the original PC version because it will contain , exapansion, patches etc.

When it launches the PC expac will too.

For a full on expansion for the PC version, you have to be looking at nearly a year or so to put it out, that can give some timeframe indications too.

Lastly it's always been said that the 360 version will come quite some time after the PC version. Any delay of it, is not to do with the 360 controller implications. That rumour was just a bad assumption on the part of a blogger.

We shouldn't forget the amount of money that can be made on consoles either.

Call of Duty 4 sold 1.5 million copies in Novemeber

on the PC for the month it sold 87,000 only.

I know that mmo's are different, but there is potential there too.

Whether PC and 360 players will be playing on the same servers is still unknown yet.

Microsoft and Nvidia have a close working relantionship with FC too.

It may be a long time till the release of the 360 version.  Not only that, the 360 community and other console community is often young and immature.  I do not want the RP aspect of an MMO to be flooded with people that are just out to exploit and grief the game.  However, I do own a 360 and love it!  So if it did come out with a version I would probably purchase it as long as the controls weren't too jacked up.

    hes pretty much right on.

i'm gunna buy the pc version cause i have to; ive been waiting so long for this amazing game, but my laptop may run it slow and which case i hope they finish the 360 version around a year or sooner.

a lot of ppl on mmorpg.com are pc'ers through and through, so no one gets unbiased responses from them. The only reason console players aren't talking as much about this game is because there really has never been a MMO on a console, don't count FF or w/e. So there arn't console ppl checking the up and coming MMO's. I know for a fact every console person i've told about this game, and the features has been very excited and would buy it w/out a doubt. I wish it came out sooner, but i understand the process of the pc version first and foremost. If the game is huge, which i hope, console ppl will hear about it and be excited.

It would be like everyone on consoles finding out about WOW on the 360. So many ppl would get it just cause they heard how many ppl love it and how awesome it is. I hope this happens for AOC and everyone loves the game, on both PC, and eventually 360.

Personally, I do not believe that people from PC version and from 360 version should be able to play together.  I believe this-

This is because when you make a game for a console, you attract diffferent crowds.  For this game, you will have much more mature, experienced MMO players, while on the 360, you will probably have many people who have not played an MMO before.  Besides, I would estimate that more immature people play the 360 version than the PC version.

I am going to play the 360 version, non the less.  This is becuase I will not find enough time to play often during the school year.  I would think that more people play more often on PC version (since there are more hardcore gamers) than on the PC.    To add on to this, I LOVED Oblivion, and I am hoping that this game will be something alike it.  This will probably be like Oblivion, but with an ability to go on Xbox Live( if Oblivion had this it would be a bigger hit).

    that's all.

I think the lack of coverage from the console gaming press has alot to do with it.  I still get EGM in the mail and I know they haven't said anything about it.  I'm willing to bet Gamepro etc. haven't said anything either.  Not to mention G4, I'm sure there are plenty of sudo-gamers out there who watch it for their news(can't imagine that).

If the game kicks ass on pc I'm willing to bet hype will start building on the 360 front.  Its unlikely I will  be building a PC anytime soon so I will be playing it on the 360.  Another post mentioned the lack of maturity from 360 gamers, and they are correct.  It makes killing them all the more sweet.

they call it a xbox 360 because when you see it you will turn 360 degrees and walk away

arguing with a corporate fanboi is like teaching special education.
even if you teach him something...at the end of the day he's still retarded.

not really sure on the spec's but are they going to generalize the graphics for 360 vs pc? i know 360 is a (decent) gaming rig but will it be able to handle all the graphics that aoc has to offer.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

i'm really not cocking you off at all, seriously but...

i think you meant a 180, cause that would be walking away.

You said that you would see it, and do a 360, u'd still be looking at it lol.

I wouldn't mind seeing you in the store tho doing pirouette's lol.

That's why PC beats 360. And really, if 360 was a comparable PC, it would have been outdated 2 years ago. Console graphics cannot keep up with PC, and neither can a consoles cpu, physics, etc.
