I read it's WASD, but can you jump? Not being able to jump just gives the game a more stiff/robotic feel to it. The combat seems very much like Rakion.

Good question, however I'm pretty sure you can! I dont know if it would go against the NDA if someone from the beta told something like this?

Yes you can jump. If you watch any gameplay PvP videos they will most likely show you there. I just watched one a bit ago.

All good console games allow jumping, so don't worry about AoC not allowing jumping... which was SO annoying in GW

    Trolling much MrVicchio?

There is currently no console version of the game although the developers seriously consider making one. I'm pretty sure it will be tied to the reception of the PC version, so don't hold your breath if the PC version doesn't fare well.

Yes, it has jumping. Only a handful of MMOs don't give you the option. Just don't expect to jump more than what you'd realistically expect from a human to do so (aka no jumping to rooftop of buildings etc.)

Thought it was gonna be released to the 360 at some other time?

All resources are currently on the PC version. The amount of work done on the console version is currently unknown to us. The developers estimated 4-6 additional months to adapt to the new media. Given how much they had to postpone the release date of the PC version, it's safer to assume that the release of the console version will take an extra year.

Bottom line, there is no console version coming any time soon after the PC version. And if the PC version is not received well, I doubt they will put extra resources to make one.

As for the store dates, most are rough estimates. Even Funcom can't keep the dates they officially set, how much credit should we give to retailer estimates?
