Quite honestly, i beta'd and liked it. But it wasnt enough to pull me from pvp related games.

 

NcSoft gonna suck it up and let it takes its course, or will it go the way of AutoAssult....

    Quite honostly i didn't like or enjoy'd the beta, but i did enjoy the game after it's release, the game was far and far to easy in beta which made it less fun TO ME!.

     

    NCSoft is still working on the game, and what is this nonsense (sorry to call it nonsnese) but we keep seeing people say is it going ot end up like AA. to me it shows people only care to compare things without actualy trying to play certain games. You do know that such a statement is found at each and every MMO ever made, not in the way people felt it might end up like AA but similair responses where made at each and every other MMO out there.

    There are alway's people that somehow feel when they do not like a game that it might end up a failure, where some might be right with certain games TR is not one of them in my opinion.

    If your main focus is pvp - I suggest you dont play it until some more pvp stuff gets added. At the moment its duels, squad duels and clan war games.

    I dont pvp so I cant offer more than that.

    I'm one of the people who have played the game and loved it for its fast pace game play.  I do not play anymore for lack of content and for the non-crafting issue.  I think the game can make a come back but they will have a fight on their hands once AOC and Warhammer Online comes out later this year.  To tell you the truth I think the game will end up Free to play and players can buy in game items with real money like in ArchLord.  If only they pushed back the release date to fix the issues this game could have been a real hit.  OOh well they tried.

    I think it will so long as they start puttin some content out..

    I've heard of alot of people who like the gameplay..just seems there isn't enough to do in game yet.

    I'll give it 6 months before we really see what is going to happen with this game.

    Sorry for the AA comment then.  I am a big follower of NetDevil actually, and i was pretty sad  when that game disappeared.

     

    The pace in beta was a wierd, the whole beta was wierd. The density gun changed i dont know how many times. lol. 6x XP multiplier!

     

    Anyhoo. The reason i ask is i liked much of the game. As a general rule, i dont jump into MMO's mid cycle, but i was considering making an exception.  A lot of games turn out great 6 months later, but if they screw up the launch, then they lose me forever.

    it was busy last night with 3 out of 4 servers sitting on medium - but that might just be from people logging on to check out what new nerfs 1.5 brought

    I think TR has a vibe of having a dedicated, very loyal core fan base..its just that this base is small.

    The game doesnt seem to have taken off well with the MMO community at large. If Conan and Warhammer are quality titles, TR will continue its low profile, probably indefintely.

This always puzzles me when i see someone write this, it seems some people REALLY didn't know that NCSoft already have said openly that TR was going to atract the nichy, and that other project they have are games they want to atract a larger playerbase. Doesn't mean they do not want TR to be succesfull towards their target audience, but once people uinderstand TR was meant to be a nichy game maybe some will finaly understand it has no use complaining about it or trying to compare it to games that are NOT meant for the nighy but meant for hte masses, as AoC and WAR have often said they are making the game for a large player base unlike RGTR which was not meant for a large player base but for a nichy playerbase.

True as many where expecting to much which was never promised but was in most cases due to people misguiding themselfs and seeing many people posting htings that ARE NOT in TR to complain about is what makes many topics on forums like this. If Conan and Warhammer are quality titles, TR will continue its low profile, probably indefintely.
