    Saw this earlier with the new season of Stargate Atlantis on commercial break.

    You posted this first so I'm bumping your thread :)

    They've got our attention.   Now we have to see if they can pull it off or if it will be another Vanguard (or worse Gods and Heroes)

    I hope they do it well, the genre needs more competition.

    TBQH I was pretty unimpressed with the commercial. Graphics really weren't very good even for an MMORPG and it was way short. Probably most of it was just CGI at this point and not actual game footage. But if the graphics are going to be at that level the gameplay better be phenomenal.

    Yep vid was good I thought. However, it was rather short and the armour that the SG member was waring was horrible. Hope they stick closer to canon on the other aspects of the game.

    I'm selling these fine leather jackets.

    I liked it I mean it had a human, a jaffa and an asgard, a battle and even a comedic one liner as if jack was there himself... looked good

    That trailer was entirely CGI (I didn't like the quaility myself) they were on a deadline and made it quick just to get the word out to the masses the game was in production and coming out soon (Q4 hopefully).

    Ultimately it accomplished what they wanted it to.... 'got the word out about the game'.

    The actual graphics of the game will be much better. Here's a recently released interview from GDC a couple weeks ago. It has some early stage ingame footage in it.

    You can clear see the game looks great. What they're aiming for graphically is realistic + stylized. I think they hit that pretty nicely :)
