Try Tabula Rasa, but when you do go in with the thought of going into a more MMO, without the rpg elements like the more traditional type of MMO's.

It's a very fast type of gameplay, compared to traditional MMO they seem to be in slowmotion when comparing how fast TR's combat is. Also prepare to enter a PVE game with pvp feature's, these feature's are being worked on due to devs actualy listening to those looking forward to more pvp in the game. The game to me outdoes almost every other MMO when it comes to details that are put in the game, tho the game world at times might seem bland, everything else is way above hte norm of MMO's, i'm talking impact at yourself or mobs, talking animations, weaponfire, the way instance's are made, so much detail is put into those things that sometimes i feel they might have putten to much focus on the details, which many simply do not look for in these type of games they sort of forgot to focus on it's content for those not willing ot look at the detail but the more rushers that play these games. I really dislike rushers as often it's that crowed who complains the most about this genre, but i know they also a part of this community so hope one day we get a middle road that rushers can enjoy aswell the patients players among us.

The game is really fun TO ME, not in a MMORPG type of way but more in a MMO type of way, in my opinion only a few games deserve to be called MMORPG, most turn out to be more MMO's. Also the game is very different then the more traditional MMORPG as it's action packed and almost anywhere you will be able ot battle, unlike most MMO's most mobs just stand there waiting for you to attack do not expect this in TR as mobs will find you, hunt you down, follow you, engage to you.

Like i said in other topics the game has lots of room to improve itself, but atleast it's a good break from the norm of fantasy game FOR ME, doesn't have ot be that way for others, but like always i only state my own personal opinion.

There are feature's in the game for example crafting which is very easy, still fun but not really with much depth, it's pretty straight forward crafting, anyone can do it where in the more traditional MMORPG crafting is more for the patients and those who just like crafting. I was/am a big fan of pre-cu SWG even last years current SWG and not found a game that has those possibilty's SWG offers. So do not expect crasfting to satisfied your needs if you are looking for crafting with depth as tha will only disappoint you when you get into TR's crafting.

Best is like with every other MMO is to go in open-minded and NEVER buy into hype or promises, treath a game for what it is, not for what it could be or for what is missing. Once people start doing that i bet forums will become a more pleasant and informative place for all us gamers to be on. Now not saying people can not complain cause each person has that right, but seeing HOW people complain about these games often TO ME looks like to much expectations and to much believe in hype, resulting into disappointment, and we all can see where disappointment leads to on these forums.

When I was in the closed and open beta of TB it was sketchy in game play and the cross of a fps/mmo isnt to my liking.

I am looking for one that will conform to my choices in the gmae not a game where i am repeating the exzact quests with every toon I make and play. one reason im leaving wow is for the lack of toon involvement all the quests are the same no individualism in the choices u make determine what happens to your toon ro what your toon can and cant do.

What your looking for is really more of a Elder scrolls, Mass Effect type single player game. Other then WAR which isnt out yet i dont think anyones toon has any kind of impact on the game world, and for WAR itll be a pvp based thing.

Other then that i think Guild Wars is pretty fun.

Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time.

If the Powerball lottery was like Lotro, nobody would win for 2 years, and then everyone in Nebraska would win on the same day.
And then Nebraska would get nerfed.-pinkwood lotro fourms

TR lasted 2 days for me - the content gets very repetitive and shallow after a while. Try hellgate london.

Sorry to say that I don't think such a MMO exist.

Otherwise I would recommend Guild Wars. It got good PvP, you can easily solo everything in the game and it's fairly easy to catch up with the players who've played for a longer time. The game is quite fun and requires some tactic thanks to the fact that you only can have 8 skills equipped, but got access to 200 or so. If you've got any questions regarding GW you can just send me a PM.
