Are you a new Vista user but are disappointed that Vista seems incompatible with some MMORPGs?

Here is a significant fix for some of our older mmorpgs. This fix is for both the Sony patcher and the Nsoft patcher/nguard.

If you are having trouble with either then this is what you must do.

Go to your Control Panel, it is accessed through the microsoft flag in your lower right. At the Control Panel you are going to click on the "User Accounts" Icon.

Next you will click on the next "User Accounts" icon. Following this you should get a series of options.

You will click on the option "Turn User Account Control ON or OFF" . Make sure to turn this to "off".

Thats it! You just fixed it!

So if you enjoy any of the NCsoft games City of Heroes/Villains, Dungeon Runners or Exteel then it should work. This also applies to the Sony Patcher for its various mmorpgs. EQ, EQII, Vanguard,Star Wars Galaxies.

Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S This also works for other mmorpgs that use a patcher.

    Very good advice actually.

I'd also reccomend investing a few dollars in StarDock's "Tweak Vista" program.  It's phenominal in oh so many ways, I wouldn't feel the same about Vista without it.

Ever since using Tweak Vista, I've switched all my computers over to Vista.

I'm happier using Vista this last year then I was using XP back in 2001.

Relatively speaking, Vista's launch was far smoother then XPs or 2000s.  They were faster to fix bugs and far better at regular updates.

But I'm happier than you because I have 1.200 euros more than you. 200€ the OS and 1000€ the computer

Thanks guys, was hoping it would stay bumped or even made into a sticky. So the newer people with Vista will know what to do.
