Netgame - wow....

Well I am totally stunned at how impossible it is to set up an account at netgame.com and how badly their sign-up process is designed. Netgame.com has the games Hero, Holic, Ares... Maybe my case is an exception, but no matter how many times I try, with different email addresses, different browsers, they do not send me an email validation to activiate my account.

OK, that might not be so bad if there was ANY means of contacting them. But if you haven't validated your account, you can't contact customer support.... no email address is provided, and their link to "1:1 customer support" produces a blank page, and round and round it goes.

I guess these people just do not want people to play their games.

[Edit: and yeah i checked my spam folder too].

No, I'm having the EXACT same trouble.  I've been trying for days, thru Fileplanet's members' bonuses key, to try out Hero, and no luck whatsoever.  No way to contact any customer support, and Fileplanet seems oblivious that there's any problem.

Can't figure out why Netgame makes it impossible to set up an account, and has various nutty and multiple layers of verification for a F2P game

don't use yahoo.   their filter is extremely paranoid and when it does filter something most of the time it doesn't bother to put it in the spam folder.  though there is an official form somewhere where you can request exceptions though forgot where.

this likely holds true for most web based E-Mail.

I never received a reply using Yahoo mail

Made a hotmail account afterward and received a confirmation reply immediately

  • While "technically" my ISP (Rogers) is not Yahoo, it does use the Yahoo servers to process email.  I download my email to an email client from Rogers (via Yahoo...), but i'll set up another email address not associayed with Yahoo and see if it works.

(Still.... the netgame process is totally ridiculous and frustrating!  If only they could be reached I'd tell them so myself)

  • Made a gmail account and it worked.. thanks for the tip.

make sure you tell netgame that Yahoo denies their E-Mails.
