I need a new game

LTWolf71LTWolf71 Member Posts: 6

I'm looking to try a new game. I'm really unsure about shelling $50.00 for a game with no trial. I have played Ultima Online, SWG (before the revamp), FFXI, and WOW. I like most of these games, but I need something new. I lean more to the rpg aspect rather then the pvp. I also like to solo play at times ( I get interupted alot while playing, kids, wife, and work) . Please advise on this game or other suggestion.

I don't mind a light bit of sandbox type, but I would like the game to have some point to it

I like to have a  profession of sorts. I also like a game with quest. You know........ people to see and things to do.

Well, if you enjoy sandbox games and working with others to complete a personal goal, check out Wurm online.

A friend and I just went to an untouched region of the game world, cut down about 20 trees, flattened the ground and are preparing to lay seeds for a farm. Soon we'll mine into the earth to get rock shards and build walls around our farm and use the felled trees to make a house.

I enjoy it, and you may too. If not, then I don't have other suggestions. Sorry! :(

    Blessings,

I will 2nd the suggestion about Wurm, but please have an open mind when playing, it seems you already do have somewhat of an open mind as you are looking for something more then those games you played. Wurm is just that, and it has a great meaning behind the game play. Politics, diplomacy, building of fortification to protect yourself during raids. Possiblities are just about endless. The concept of Wurm is somewhat what is was in medeval period, the only addition is the magic which is known as and strickly applyed to only Lore in Wurm... Religion and all that good stuff.

Also dont be scared away by the no sounds when yuou log in, to fix that go into your options and sound settings and change the hardware to software, or visa versa which ever is showing and sound isnt working change to the other. Anyway hope you like it if you give it a try good luck to ya.

I think you can try Shadow of Legend, a new game that trully realize cross-platform, that you can play on PC, PDA and Smartphone simutaneously. Of course, I recommend it to you not only because of this, it has the game features you like: there are eight professions and lots of quests with main story, what the game attracts me is that the quests are really interesting and full of challenge, all monsters and NPCs are so tricky that you never can't underestimate them, and play with others is very, very important, to me, it's a game for team, for guilds, for group.
