Character and server question

in Age of Conan: Unchained

With the announcement of SGW new character slot poll, I went and checked AoC Q&A and was unable to find anything about how many character slots per server AoC will have.  Can anyone fill me in?

    8 characters per account, no details on whether you can split your alt's up on other / different types of server - Im betting you can though.
