MMORPG?

in Final Fantasy XI

Hey everyone

I was thinking about playing an MMORPG cause as of now the only MMO game I have is Planetside.  I was thinking about playing World of Warcraft when it came out but then I found this game.  Should I wait for World of Warcraft? or is this game so amazing I should get this instead?

    This is the best MMORPG ive played, if you want something cool til WoW, pick this one

    Its worth playing, especially if your an FF fan. This game is far too final fantasy for alot of people tho, they want EQ.. this isn't. Its an FF MMORPG.

    I think WoW might be a better overall game, and definatly should be bought, but i like FFXI

    Thanks for your advice everyone, I think Im going get FFXI.

    I like FFXI, thinking about coming back, but if I had to choose between Final Fantasy XI and World of Warcraft I would buy World of Warcraft.

    My only beef with FFXI is that the character customization is limited and the monthly fee is way too high 12.99 for 1 character, $1.00 per additional character. I anticipated PVP for awhile and when it came out I was severely disheartened. It's not a bad game, but it isnt the best either. I'm not just some random player either, I've been a hardcore Final Fantasy fan and beaten all of them up to X-2 (I want to get Chrystal Chronicles SOOO badly).

    The good side to this game: graphics, music, the Galka and Tarutaru were pretty original races, the storyline is good and the music and graphics are wonderful.

    But WoW will still be better. I might do FFXI and WoW. I'll have to see image

    World of Warcraft- (Coming soon :P)

    WoW is still another half a year away.. at the least..

    FFXI can be a very fun game. It has it's faults but you will never find a perfect game out there. They all have their own faults.

    This games fault is the currency system and the comunity isnt the best...
