I don't mind if it's a RPG or a FPS aslong as it's as epic as Mass Effect or Crysis, just I love the whole setting of the Aliens movies cause I love Sci-fi but theres just no good games based on the theme. I like the whole industrial capital ships with humanity living in space and searching for planets. What I don't like about things like Star Wars apart from the crap acting and script writing of the new films is the fact Aliens are everywhere. I love the realistic it could happen sci-fi but with a horror twist like the Alien films make of finding a hostile species but noone believes you cause Aliens don't exist. It's got to be dark and gritty too because space is a lonely place and it's no fairy tale.
Problem I have with previous games is none of them were epic enough to create like a virtual aliens based world and I'd love a story driven world to explore of the epic scale of the 2 games I said above.

Obsidian is currently working on an Aliens RPG. There is also a shooter in the works scheduled for a 2008 release. (Aliens Colonial Marines)

Damn They Ruined KOTOR and NWN.... + it's being published by sega All their games recently have sucked sooo badly.
Another game based around the Arcade game Ailens VS Predator...that would be pretty damn awsome.

I just don't like the Predator part cause them films are pure cheese and the alien just doesn't fit.
/shrug, Don't play it then.

There is a difference between the Cheesy AvP fims and the games. The games were great BTW.
Another great example of Moore's Law. Give people access to that much space (developers and users alike) and they'll find uses for it that you can never imagine. "640K ought to be enough for anybody" - Bill Gates 1981
