game for casual gamer

marowitmarowit Member UncommonPosts: 268

i`m looking for a game for a casual gamer i only have time to play lets say 15 hours a week maybe more if i have the spare time.

so i`m looking for a game in witch i`m not at the bottom of "the wood chain".in witch i`m lets say in the lower 25% rather then in the lower 0.1%.i don`t mind if it`s f2p b2p p2p i don`t care, and i live in europe so someting that doesn`t have a 99% us population because i don`t want to play alone.

my pc is kinda bad 512ram 128fx5500 and 1.8ghz so something that i can run with no problem.

i have tried wow-hardcore player game where someone as casual as me does not have a chance

GW-i didn`t like the whole waiting for a group thing can`t do quests if you are alone.

and crapy free games like silkroad,mu,rakion  can`t remeber all of them but pretty much everithing free until the middle of 07 when i took a break from gaming.

if i don`t find anithing good i`ll stick to mythos since it`s easy to keep up because it`s beta so it`s not yet done low lvl cap etc.so any other suggestions or is mythos my last chance

.Thanks

I don't know if it will run on your computer (if guild wars does it should)  but Lord of the Rings Online is VERY casual friendly.   The only PvP in the game is monster play vs players (MPvP).  There is some pvp gear that you can get, but there's nto a mad rush to get the leet gear or anything.   The community also is much better than WoW.

You can solo most of the classes (if not all) to 50.  The quests in this game give a lot of xp, so it's not as grindy as some games.  There are a TON of quests, plus you can also do side stuff like get a house, complete deeds for character enhancing traits or for titles.  There's a 14 day trial on the main website if you wanted to give it a go.

On another note,  Guild Wars does give you the option to bring along henchman if you're looking to solo/play casually without waiting for a group.  They're not the most intelligent, but I haven't had much trouble doing any quests with them.  Of course, I usually have Ranger either as my sub or main, so the pet helps for aggro/dps.

Aye, LotRO is fun now (I didn't like it in beta) and very casual.

If you think WoW is for hardcore players , then there is no casual game for you my friend .
