Sword Of the New world..Learning..

ttomm46ttomm46 Member UncommonPosts: 446

Hi

I posted this earlier today but it looks like it didn't post///..If it's a double post i apologize.

My question is the game, at least reading the manual makes it seem harder than it should be to learn the game......I was wondering if it's really worth getting and is it worth the trouble to learn?

Thanks all

Tom

While I haven't tried every MMORPG on the market, I have tried most of the free ones, and IMHO, it's by far the easiest to get into (which is why I play it, actually, couldn't get into most of the other ones).

Combat is simple - characters basically attack on their own. You just the space bar to put them in auto defend mode.

You click on an icon or hit a key (they are labeled on screen) to use a skill or item.

The quest log could be better; stances are a little confusing at first, but it's a pretty simple game to play.

I've tested SotNW! It took me 9 hours total to download, install and patch (longest 9 hours ever). BUT it's totally worth it in my opinion. I was very pleased with the graphics and the Baroque style they use for not only the buildings but also the weapons and the armour. I would definately recommend this game to you so go ahead and download it. You will not regret it if you're looking for a refreshing MMO that's easy to learn.

    Horrible customer service

    Horrible developer

Tons of Bots and little is done to counter them

Horrible communication with the player base

    Id pass.

I dunno, I've dealth with customer service twice and got a response right away.

They have two people talking to players on the official message boards. That's pretty good communication. Their main web site stinks, though.

I would agree with the bots. I would guess it's a matter of not having very many employees. It seems like a small company with limited manpower. But even so it can take a week for bots to be removed.  And apparently players can bot with limited penalties.
