SzarkSzark News ManagerMember Posts: 4,420

The Forsworn, the second expansion for Legends of Norrath, the online trading card game that is playable inside and out of EverQuest and EverQuest II, was released last week.

Your job is clear; hunt down the Forsworn and force them to retake their oaths to the Tribunal or face the consequences! You will not be alone in this. Along the way meet up with the Oathbound heroes Terin, Cyndra, Karlemayne and Eluviel and employ their special skills to help you achieve your goals.

Inquisitor, the latest and greatest addition to Legends of Norrath, features 250-plus cards including new units, avatars, abilities, items, and loot. Get the scoop on all the new features here. Then head over to the Design & Strategy Articles forum where you'll find great articles on Inquisitor by the LoN game designers.

Starting today and running through the weekend, the Tournaments Lobby will be hosting Release Events. Each player will receive one random Inquisitor Starter Deck and 3 Inquisitor Booster packs to build their tournament deck. Each participant will also receive a Burynai Rockshaper (3P2) digital promo card! Please see the Events Calendar for details. Don't miss it!

Oops. The expansion is called "Inquisitor," not "The Forsworn."

LoN is kind of fun ... too bad SOE has absolutely zero customer support.  I might actually play the game if it didn't continually crash on me.  And it's the only piece of software that does, so it's not reasonable to blame my system.

Yes, I did post my problem on the forums, and some well-meaning players tried (and failed) to help.  Not once did I get a response from anyone at SOE.  Mainly a lot of people saying my system was the problem.  Gotta love those people who work tech support and are trained to replace parts first and ask questions later.  (I know -- I was one.)

Well, for what it is worth we had a problem in the Inquistor tournament this past weekend where players lost their 20 event passes (which was required to enter, and each event pass is $1.00). The moderators managed to not only refund the 20 event passes, but allowed participants to keep the starter deck and bonus game card packs and they also hosted a makeup tournament for that Monday.

    So they aren't that bad.
