Instead of giving a complex list of what i've done to try and get this game working, im making this a quick bulleted list.
1. The patching program that comes with this game freezes and doesn't work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 6 times total.
2. I check online to get help from Auran themselves, apparently ALL of thier webpages are down?
3. I finally find something telling me to erase all internet history, ect. I do it, Auran patching still fails.
4. I finally find a manual patch that works! It goes through successfully after about 3 retries?
5. I find out this patch I just downloaded still isn't the newest, Auran tries again and can't connect to itself to patch? I give up.

You went kinda extreme with the re-installing and everything. Yeah the sites are down, and yes the game is saying something about a patch...
Wait till tommorw things should clear up, lol hopefully...
I had this same problem using windows vister. This can occur due to wireless internet signals, or compadability issues. My advice, do into %temp% and delete all corrupt or incomplete patching files. When this is done, install the game and LEAVE IT UNTIL SITE IS BACK UP! The site is currently down for reconstruction as is the game so fear not, and don't give up yet friendo-

How long is this gonna take to come back up? I'm installing the game right now, and haven't started patching, but is it that much of a problem?
I'm not entirely sure. It all depends on the size of the patch. It can take anywhere from 6-52 hours. I remember Beta had some long ass patches so. Thats the best answer i can give because Auron likes to keep its customers in the dark about everything.
IF this is a patch then its gonna be a big one including the new forum system hopefully.
