listen, it is hard to lvl up because teh current level cap is only up to 75 thats why, I bet when isquanix raises the level cap to 100 or 99 whatever, it will be much easier.
Raise the level cap? The rumors were dispelled in an interview with the game producer who said the level cap was perfect at where it was. So the level cap will not go higher than 75, ever.
I thought the jobs were nice, very original jobs and the music and graphics were great. I quit though. Thinking of coming back. Mebbe.
Ultima Online- Apoc Final Fantasy XI Online- Nabara World of Warcraft- (Coming soon :P)
i play on australian servers because racism is acceptable there
I think that Squarenix could leave it there. I think that it will not go up for a long time. It is just like they actually mean that your characters are only around for 3 months after quitting. They also mean it that they don't prorate monthly fees except the one where the free month runs out. I might not like it but I do feel like I have to respect that what Squarenix says is what they mean to do. I personally think they will add more jobs before they would raise the cap. Raising the level cap brings in the need for lots of new content. That would not bother me except feels like areas are toooooooo small as is. I hate that I have to travel the length of the zone almost twice to go from one side to the other.
I don't like the game any more. I am at 32 whm for a couple of weeks now. I am trying to do some other things to see if it will be better when I try leveling again. I think WoW is where I will be heading if I don't find some reason to keep playing it.
Well it was super fun, it was my first MMO tho, i cannot compare to anything else i made it to a lvl 31 RDM and a lvl 15 DRG and it was good I just quit because i was a Taru DRG and i liked the challenge but finding a party who took me seriuslly was hell and i didnt feel like starting another char and lvling to 30 just for a ADV job
After playing Daoc, EQ, AC2, L2, RO, EQOA, and betaing a few others.
I can quite honestly say that FFXI is the best MMORPG I have ever player. I was always a solo'r in MMORPG's so I was kind of intimidated by the required grouping aspect. But its because of that, I have made lots of friends, had a whole buch of adventures, and got countless stories.
I played EQ for more than double the amount of time I have been playing FFXI. But when I quit EQ I had less than a fourth of the stories and friends that I have made in FFXI.
I love the community and the art of the game. Makes it all worthwhile.
