Hmm, I dunno. I think Dora the Explorer/Diego would have a broader market than hannah montanna. That is more stateside tho. Hello Kitty, sadly, still has the global market.
As long as gaming remains primarily a child's pastime, silly-looking, cartoony kid's games like WoW will lead the pack, which is why I'll never play it.
I'll stick with the MMORPG's that attract adults with the money to buy systems required to run the high-end graphics MMO's like AoC. Playing with kids is for kids, which is why I always join Guilds with a minimun age requirement.
Yeah, but what would the gameplay of Hanna Montana Online be like?
The WoW bashers seem to forget that for a while, at least, WoW is pretty engaging. Which I know drives them absolutely nuts, which is why threads like this pop up all the time.
CH, Jedi, Commando, Smuggler, BH, Scout, Doctor, Chef, BE...yeah, lots of SWG time invested.
what is this 'beat' you refer to? like Titanic beating all other films by sales?(might be another film now)
As long as we get quality releases it doesn't matter which has most subscriptions. It'll be interesting to see what Bioware come up with- they come up qith a quality release and people will more accurately flock to the mmo that meets their gaming needs rather than a situation where maybe WoW is trying to cater to them all but limited by the capability that it will inevitably be poor in some of them. When you don't have enough quality releases, that maybe what happens.

This is a joke. AoC will be a kiddie magnet irregardless of system specs due to it's M rating and "polygon boobies".
Games I've played/tried out:WAR, LOTRO, Tabula Rasa, AoC, EQ1, EQ2, WoW, Vangaurd, FFXI, D&DO, Lineage 2, Saga Of Ryzom, EvE Online, DAoC, Guild Wars,Star Wars Galaxies, Hell Gate London, Auto Assault, Grando Espada ( AKA SoTNW ), Archlord, CoV/H, Star Trek Online, APB, Champions Online, FFXIV, Rift Online, GW2.
I regret buying Vanguard. It looks absolutely horrible, and I don't have $2000 to spend on a new computer just for it to look decent.
I have 3 gigs of ram, Radeon 9600 Pro, and a AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (2.08 GHz) processor and it still looks like a Playstation 1 game.
I played WoW on these same specs and it never gave me a problem. If I have to have a best computer only to play a mediocre (at best) game, then no thank you.
I've been told my computer's specs are enough to run AOC or Warhammer, so i'm just going to wait till then.
The only MMO capable of beating WoW is a MMO better than WoW. So far none has been released, but I have high hopes that sooner or later one must be released.
You can get triple dmg multipliers for going retarded in unison. And raid dungeons could involve defeating Timothy Leary in an acid-popping contest. Don't forget the Graham Crackers and Milk instance. ENDGAME at is best.

This is the stupidest post I've read in a while, and I read these forums regularly. There's no way this is an attempt at a legitimate discussion.
He could have said Hannah Montana Online.

What about Vanguard re-launch...

BAMBI ONLINE...bambi
Or just simply a MMO that had less steep learning curve than WoW (negative learning curve?) and that had an extreme marketing campaign.

Boondock Saints imo - and PvP in Hannah Montana might actually be fairly engaging, don't count her out.
Though we have heard of stupid haste in war, cleverness has never been seen associated with long delays.

World of Warcraft 2 wouldn't beat World of Warcraft.
The only thing that ever will, if anything is ever to, is something as incidental and unplanned as World of Warcraft's own success.
Teletubbies Online.
