In this time before the new MMORPGs are released what MMORPGs are you playing ???

I am waiting for World of Warcraft, but I was playing Lineage II (until I could not take it any more ) so I am not playing anything right now.

So I was thinking "what are the MMORPGs that other players and why?"

Well, I am playing EVE but wont subscribe again after this month runs out. I had previously quit for 6 months and will be quitting again. I am waiting for EQ2 myself. EVE will be great for some people and boring for others. Then again, the intent of this post wasn't to rate it.. so I will end it here.

Been playing City of Heros and beta testing AO Alien Invasion.

Wife is hoplessly addicted to Asheron's Call 2 and i have to fight her for Computer time an awful lot lately. Waiting for EQ2 and WoW. Played WoW beta at a friends house and i must say it is Swweeetttt!

I've played virtually every mmorpg game there is in the last year still have not found one i could stick with. Hope one of the Next Gen. games can hold my interest for a year or so.

Getting bored with City of Heros already after a month of play.

Kinda stuck in DaoC, but really only for the people I met. All the new grinding has pretty much removed the casual player from the race... don't get me wrong, you can still do well and have fun, but it's just harder than ever.

Playing nothing. Tried CoH but its too simple for my taste. I prefer more complex MMORPG, meaning more adults playing them and less kids.

I hope CoH will do a great job of keeping the kids away from more serious games like EQ 2 and WoW, so we can have a real role-playing environment.

P.S. : By the way, I was refering to the mental age of people when I talked about "kids" I understand that some 16 years old people are fully able to function in a RP community while some 35 years old are not. So its not a flame towards people of a younger age.

An Role-play shard would solve that problem, but true RPers has a hard time finding nice RP games. Horizons has a quite large RP community, and has a more mature playerbase than most other MMORPGs. I suggest that you try that one out.

For my part, i'm waiting for Guildwars. I've tested a lot of MMORPGs the last 6 months yet to find a good one. EVE was the best thos, i stuck with that one for 2 months untill i got bored of mining and waiting for my skills to get complete.

i went back to AC2 after a year off. its a good game. i quit it a year back because the servers kept going down. the new crafting system is very inventive. i just hope it will tide me over for another 3months. i am running out of options here....

I havent been playing any MMOs since I quit L2 a couple months ago. Played some none MMOs like Farcry and Doom3 but they dont keep my intrest very long like MMOs do. None of the current MMOs have enough appeal for me to play them. Only MMOs im interested in are WoW and EQ2 (WoW more so). I Soooooooo cant wait till I can play WoW looks so much fun and is exactly what I look for in a MMO.

Playing SWG right now, though to be honest I don't know why. I swear Sony is making an effort to frustrate people even further by breaking things that worked in the past while not fixing things that need their attention.

Typical SOE. As soon as WoW comes out, I'm there.

I'd sooner dig out my eyes with a rusty spoon than give SOE one more penny.

im currently in a state of MMORPG limbo... im not really putting much time into any of them, but instead trial hopping from one thing to another... i WAS playing Lineage 2 (and having a great time too might i add) untill issues with customer support made me leave... SOOO... in the last couple weeks i've been on SWG, EVE, RoE and currently on Ragnarok... im not really sure where im going...

i guess i'll keep this up untill WoW beta (not interested in EQ2 at all) comes out and then try that... if its good enough i'll probably start P2P there untill something better comes along...

Im playing nothing. I want to cool off on mmrpgs for a few months before the next wave hit. That way I wont be jumping from one game to the next and getting sick of them every more quickly.
