My vote went to Gollum in lack of other decent participants; couldn't come up with any decent ones you missed either. So do I get a free cookie now?

I went with Darth Vader, I know it may be cliche due to the market saturation of Star Wars, but when I looked back to my childhood, I thought he was defintely the most coolest and badass.

I know there are MANY Villains, and I just could not take in everyone. So I took those I knew and liked, and felt that was the most fair way to create a super villain poll. ;)

With a list of such diverse villains i couldn't pick just one, so heres who i voted for :

Lex Luthor, for a comic book character and enemy of Superman ( Man of God Mode ), LL is pretty competent as a villain.

Dr. Evil, how could anyone not like Dr. Evil? But this is what i mean by very diverse list, you put a comical villain with very serious villains like Voldemort and Lecter.

Lord Voldemort, amassed a huge army and actually kills the protagonist, and he looks creepy. Voldermort is an awesome villain and he only died because apparently villains always have to lose. Even if it takes deus ex machina.

    Sauron, i don't think i need a reason.

Hannibal Lecter, Lecter is so brutal, he will always be on the top of my villain list.

Gollum, however minor a villain ( if he can be called that ), Gollum has been a favorite of mine since i read the Hobbit.

Magneto, master of magnetism, my favorite villain in all of Marvels comics. But then again its Marvel, and they love to put the most retarded crap in their comics. Example : Nearly every character in X-men has died atleast twice. Some have died maybe 40 times. And thus i can not enjoy X-men because of the horrible stuff they put in it, Magneto is still one of my favorite villains though.

Too bad you didn't add Dolarhyde, i would have voted for him to.

Edit: In the poll it says Hannibal Lecter ( Silence of the Lambs ), I believe this is incorrect as Lecter was first introduced in Red Dragon.

    Darth Vader: he's just cool

Count Dracula: A classical villain, an example for many later villains

Darth Vader-My favorite bad guy as a child.

Dr.No and Goldfinger-love James Bond movies

Hannibal Lecter-Anthony Hopkins is a great actor

Hal9000-The greatest computer of all time.

I would like to add Mr. Sinister and Oddjob to the list.

If you are not being responded to directly, you are probably on my ignore list.

When he is written properly Magneto is one of the deepest villains ever created.

And then there is the bad writing...

Silence of the Lambs was made roughly 11 years before The Red Dragon, in 1991.

The Joker, hands down. Anyone who can make you laugh to death is definitely evil. And let's face it, the man shows he obtains great pleasure from his work. Wouldn't we all like to be so lucky?
