The Dungeon Runners dev team has spewed forth another expansion for their popular hack and slash dungeon game. This expansion however is just a mini expansion, and is too small to bear the usual 'Chunk' title, thus it has been dubbed 'Heave'. Heave hurls 51 new quests, new armor, and new gear into the fray, as well as offering improvements to the user interface and the waypoints system, and also horks up a few new characters.
NCsoft’s Dungeon Runners team is keeping things cool for its players by launching a new content update that provides some frosty surprises including snowmen, a new dungeon, new items and improvements to the waypoint system.
The content update, which is considered more of a “Heave” than a full-blown expansion “Chunk,” introduces a new dungeon called Balzack’s Burrow for player levels 55 and up. Balzack’s Burrow is loaded with loot, monsters and a final boss-battle that will require more than just mind-numbing violence in order to claim victory.
Chill Bill, a formidable snowman and the first NPC that players can summon in Dungeon Runners, is available at level 30 and can help players fight enemies. He has several specialized moves, such as the head butt, where Bill removes his head and bashes an opponent. Chill Bill is a low maintenance snowman that can be healed by hitting him with ice projectile spells.

Just started this game two days ago. Man am I loving it!! Quite addicting, fun, and ohh so many quests. Joined up as a member and do not regret it.
Hmm...
My reaction was the exact opposite: DR struck me as silly, lame, buggy, and seemed, in my opinion, to require a subscription to be really playable and so was not as "F2P" as it at first appeared.
The character models were ho-hum and there didn't seem to be very many people online playing at least whenever I checked in.
In my opinion, a similar (but better) game, Mythos (in closed beta at the moment), is going to blow DR right off the F2P map.
While DR is a purely hack-&-slash mmorpg, it is very fun to play. I like the cartoonish style and with my ranger, I was able to solo - on medium difficulty - from lvl 5 (which was the lvl I stopped playing some 6 months ago) to lvl 15 in just one afternoon last week: I had a lot of fun. I didn't miss extra storage, stronger potions or a group (at least at that moment). It's addictive and hilarious sometimes. For a F2P, it's awesome, much better than many korean that always follow the same formula between them.
Took me longer to download than to uninstall. Its broken and unfun on every level with minimal classes, no races, nothing not allready seem in 25623875362 other games. The chat in that game made me fear for humanity... eek couldnt get it off my machine fast enough.
The game is freaking awsome and free!Plus it's content is expanding every month at least!
What's wrong with you people.
I am a 45lvl fighter and I am going to keep playing at least till I reach lvl 100 and become a full mythic(or how do you say it when you have all RB(Mythic) gear).
As is so oft the case, one man's trash is another's treasure.
Not sure I like all the bio references (like heave, usually not a flattering term)

I would agree that "fun" is subjective. If you like the game, great! If not, no biggie. I do have some feedback on your comments, however:

The only people this game is freaking awesome to are those that have not played it for long.
Believe me there is not a more boring MMORPG out there. Best thing they could do with this game is unplug it.
Dungeon Runners is my current favorite game and has been for some time. I've been playing regularly since December, 2006 (beta), btw. During that time, I've seen massive improvements to the game and tons of new content added. Granted, Diabloesque hack-n-slash with a wicked sense of humor that skewers America pop-culture may not be your cup of tea, but there's no reason to be overwhelmingly negative.
