Looking for advise (and perhaps a Euro key)

I like to play games with my two sons (9 & 11) and we have tried a few MMORPGs with variable success in the fun department. The boys usually get praise for their maturity from other players, so I don't have to worry about them acting like brats. From what I've read here and elsewhere CoX seems to be a good match to our requirements for a game: Good solo play, good group play (in small groups), simplish rules, limited text (non-native English speakers), no non-consensual PvP, good fun, etc. 
I have read that other kids seem to enjoy themselves in this game. Do any of you experienced players know of anything that could be considered a drawback for CoX that I should take into consideration?
I would like to try the game before I buy but I can see that such a trial requires somebody friendly to pass on a key. Would one of you friendly fellows like to help me out here? (If somebody had multiple keys we could all try the game together but for looking at the game one key would be great).

I think CoX will be a perfect game for you guys
The great thing about CoX is that no matter how bad a player you might be, you will still be able to accomplish something, while still having fun.
