    Very nice, and very true about LOTRO.  It is definitely the most beautiful game I've played to date.  I find myself many times stopping in my tracks after slaying some beast to look at the horizon, a huge monument, or just the snowcapped peaks as I explore and quest in the game.

     

    The developers are to be commended as they used the various graphical possibilities well to provide players with a true to Middle Earth game.

    And oddly, LOTRO got the "Worst Use of an IP" award at the MMOWTF awards 2007.

    I played this game last summer. I loved the graphics and the story line. The way The

    Shire was put together was jaw dropping. The only reason that I don't play this anymore is that the pvp style of the game is not the type of pvp i enjoy. I enjoy the head ripping stuff.    This award was well placed

    im sorry but how can you take MMOWTF seriously the title itself sounds like it is run by kids.

    Yes , voted by WoW, Eve and every other game that was not LotRO fan. Think Game Spy has al  little more credit then a polled user award.

    I would rather say voted by disgruntled MEO fans.

    What I want to say is that every award is somewhat flawed.

    Hm, first you said that games like WoW and Eve "voted", which I can still somewhat understand by substituting the games by their fanboys.
